I remember seeing an old thread about this... I think there was a port being worked on, or something?
Either way, I just want to know: is this going to happen for Mac?

Yeah since CC is built will all readily portable libraries, we do have plans for a MacOSX build in the future, when the game is much closer to finished.

Im saying this as a computer technician by the way but mac's suck, it takes months instead of maybe a few days to get replacement parts for them for starters...

Anyway enough of my rant, If your going Mac any chance for Linux too? :D

It doesn't matter what they want/use/are forced to use, having Cortex Command available to all operating systems (the major ones at least) would benefit the game, if not get more people involved with the project, or at the very least, the community.

I think I would have to disagree with this. From what I read, ~5 Percent of computers sold this year were Mac's.

Hardware is becoming more standard with Mac's as well, sure there may be some proprietary hardware, but a lot of it I can just buy from any hardware vendor.

Windows XP can now work on Mac's natively (and also virtually using Parallels http://www.parallels.com/en/products/workstation/mac/.

Not to mention support for a lot of the Linux distro's

Yeah, Macs are so lame. Whenever I get a surprise program that helps me create space on my hard drive, and I don't even have to click a button agreeing to its install, and I find out that it's so secure, even I can't delete it, I go, thank lord for PCs.

Pssh.

Oh. I'm new, I guess.

You know how PC's wont turn off sometimes, well Mac's have gotten past that problem. They turn off all the time, they dont even worry if a program's running with unsaved data like PC's they just go right off. :D
