Helloo everyone! I'm pretty new here, and it seems as though this is the only really active part of the community. With that in mind, here is.... *insert drum roll here* Roll to Dodge: Galactic!
Roll to Dodge: Galactic is set in a universe where humans and other aliens have joined together in the infinite abyss of space. Together, they have discovered FTL travel, dimensional portals, and even a touch of magic. You are born into this wonderful, yet treacherous time, so do whatever you want with your life, and as the old planetgoons would say, YOLO!
This is a very choice-based adventure, where the choices of the players can go anywhere. You may start together, but it does not have to be co-operative, although Karma may bite you in... uncomfortable places. Beyond that, let your imagination run wild!

Rules:
I'll be using RANDOM.ORG for the rolls. The rolls will be made using a "d6". Actions that need rolls are are Initiative, Searches, Ponder/Social Attacking/Defending, and other Regular Skills, such as sprinting, during stressful situations, Ex. fighting, being chased. The last will be a straight-up roll, with your abilities lowering/raising the threshold to succeed. Ex. Jim is a gymnast being chased by a dog. He wants to climb up a fence. Normally, he would have to roll 4 or higher. However, since he is a gymnast, unless he rolls a 1, he will make it over. Jim rolls a 1, and does not make it over. Otherwise, the roll will be added on to your stats.
Passives are what determine your rolls. Passives: Strength (Physical Attacks), Agility (Ranged/Magic Attacks), Perception(Search, Accuracy), Speed(Initiative, Dodge) Intelligence(XP, Knowledge), Charisma(Money, Charm), Will(+Health). You start with a set amount, depending on your race, but you have 6 points to put wherever you like.
Races, Contacts and Ablilities
Same as with Skills, these you can make up. Race will help you negotiate with your own species, and their allies, as well as determine your starting allocation of Passives. I have already made some, but you can also give me ideas. Contacts are the people you know, and you can start with 4, but you will slowly gain them as you advance through the adventure. Ex. Jonah Silverton-Arms Dealer, Karl Hammerfist-Senator on Varma. I will also approve these. You can have 2 abilities, which you also can make up. These are things your character is good at. However, the more general the topic, the weaker the buff is. Ex. Sniper-+4 when using a Sniper Rifle, Diplomat-+2 Charisma. [spoiler]Humans: Your standard bipedal apes. Smart, but not very fast. Strength 3 Agility 3 Perception 3 Speed 2 Intelligence 4 Charisma 3 Will 3 Adaptable: 3 bonus passive points.
Kandaari: Giant winged wolves, but bipedal, and with longer finger-paws. Strength 5 Agility 2 Perception 2 Speed 4 Intelligence 2 Charisma 2 Will 4 Winged Beasts: Can Fly
Aentes: Large Vines with arms, but slither like snakes and are definitely alive. Strength 2 Agility 5 Perception 4 Speed 3 Intelligence 3 Charisma 3 Will 2 Vine Tail: Can Choke, Bind
Health
Health is determined as Strength+Agility+Will+Modifiers for P(Physical,Penetrating) Health and Will*3+Modifiers for S(Stun) Health. If your S+P damage equals your S Health, you go unconscious. If your S+P damage equals your S+P Health, you die. You receive debuffs when your health reaches certain percentages. This is to prevent a tank from getting immobilized from taking a fraction of his HP in damage. Ex. Will has 20 HP in total, ang he gets shot for 4 damage. Since he takes 20% of his total HP in damage, he gets a 40% debuff to all actions, and is also 60% damage away from unconsciousness. However, Pain is also a factor. You roll 10 d6s, divided the results by 6, then multiply it by 10. If that number is lower than your percent of damage, you are stunned for a turn.

The + x is the my self distributed points
Skills: Slick Willy: Can talk himself out of almost every situation. Split vision: No/lower penalty to aiming at multiple things at once. Left the bonuses open.
Associates: "Nico": A clone bred to be a fighter pilot turned aerospacecraft salesman. Nico can provide and modify anything that flies. Jonah Silverton: Arms Dealer Mike Re: Fence "Fox's legacy": Heavily modified Ibram Gaunt-class gunship. Two seat cockpit layout swapped for a single seat with an extra stick on either side to control the ball turrets on the sides of the fuselage. Forward turret swapped for gun array. Room for 6 passengers and 40 cubic meters of cargo. (think B25-H with some more 40k fire raptor mixed in.) I figured that the orbital spaceship would be okay if I substituted it for an associate. If it's not we can probably work something out.

Tabi Konai - Long black hair, dark skin, small frame. Infamous for blowing up government buildings. She has a knack for electronics, be it remote-controlled detonators or rigging up a basic computer from scrap electronics. On good terms with Judith, the two often trading equipment/materials and information or working on a coop project.
John Freemaneth - Average height, short hair, athletic build. Pretty sure that's not his real name, but he can't remember ♥♥♥♥ ever since he got smacked in the head with a brick in an alley fight. Judith throws weapons and equipment at him, points him at a job that needs taking care of, and he more or less gets it done, only asking for new toys in return.

Let me know if this works. I may have missed something, and wouldn't mind playing a race in the OP.
Race: Slylandrin
The Slylandrins, simply put, are an ancient race that evolved upon a gas giant they call Source. Though it might surprise you to learn that even though they're an ancient species, the Slylandrin are, in fact, newcomers to the galactic scene. You see, being gaseous in nature, the Slylandrin were unable to create their own spacecraft—or for that matter, create any kind of written record of history or technology of almost any kind. It wasn't up until recently that the humans found the Slylandrin during a routine survey, and learned of their plight. It wasn't long before the humans agreed to help the Slylandrin leave their home planet. While still in the early stages, this effort has culminated in the development of sophisticated pressure suits for the Slylandrin, giving them the ability to explore the stars.
Name: Lofty Flourish (Lofty for short)
Lofty Flourish is a relatively young Slylandrin, only a thousand years old. His people chose him to be one of the first to explore the stars, and tasked him with one day returning with stories of the world beyond Source. Though a bit of an airhead, his sturdy suit makes him a valuable companion.

Tinkerer in Training: Lofty spoke with several human experts on the intricacies of his pressure suit! He thinks he could fix most issues with it, or maybe fiddle with other machinery. Probably. This is all kind of new to him.

The Game Begins
You all wake up in the same large hospital room. You hear a fain beep, and a nurse rushes towards you all.
"Did you just..." She mutters.
You recall what your life was like. After going through your backstory, you remember why you are here. You met each other because... Then took a ship to.... And then the ship crashed and burned.
The nurse checks a couple monitors, then begins talking.
"So, in case you don't remember, you were on an unidentified spacecraft that was attacked by pirates. They set off a FEMP, which ripped apart your ship. We found you in drop pods, but had no idea who you are, other than your name, and home planet. Why? Because the FEMP also erased your history. You, my friend are a clean slate. Sorry, was I monologuing?" "I guess we can discharge you now, since that's the last item on the checklist." She brings you to the front counter, gets you to register in the hospital database, and checks your finances. 10000 GalCreds.
