Dude like, it totally is. When stuff happens like the forum bursts in activity for quite a while, then it gets silent again. And forum games is always active!

We only need some controversy to get active.

In general, the off-topic section is the only thing on life support. The rest is collecting dust, but the mod release section does get its dust ruffled from time to time. :^)

The hate for forum games dates way back to when the forum was actually still alive. The reason was nobody knew how to write a good story except for Cinos, who did really good CYOA's that are now lost to time. Also because the other would-be forum gamers had dumb games like "count to infinity".

The problem is, if people are playing forum games then they're not playing CC or modding, then the rest of the forum dies. Forum games is a parasitic subsection that lives off the rest of the sections. It all makes sense!
