Hey all, having some strange issue happen.
What happens is after a certain amount of time in a mission (anywhere from 10 seconds to 10 minutes) the game freezes. Not into a 'stopped responding' state, but everything stops while music keeps playing. Any sound currently playing will also be set on repeat. I can exit, but only though task manager.
Things I've tried;
Removal of mods
Re-install
Reset Settings
Changing settings
Update drivers

Anything else I can do? It only started happening recently, under absolutely no PC changes.

Did you try deleting all files before reinstalling it?

Yes.

I thought it might have been the fact that my ram was getting fairly old (10 years). I upgraded, but no difference.

Nobody knows?

Is there a abortscreen image?

No, nothing. It just freezes the image while the music and whatever sounds that were playing at that moment keeps going. The only way to close it is to use task manager.
I think I've seen it happen once in a youtube let's play series, but I'd have to find that video again.

Well, as a test, I installed CC on two of my friends PCs. One is relatively new, the other is fairly old like mine. Both froze with no mods after a short time.

Turns out, crossing the map seams was actually randomly crashing the game. Removing WrapX (or just playing on non-wrapped maps) let's myself and my mates play CC properly again. Not sure why this is happening, but there it is.

Not everyone gets these bugs, getting angry ain't gonna solve squat. Also, you using the latest build? I haven't had any seam bugs since the fix in 1.05 (?).

Not angry. Just both disappointed and relieved. But yeah, the build is the latest.
