Can't you go to any faction, and multiply the GibWoundLimit, GibImpulseLimit and Health of all actors by 100, do the same with their weapons and make them dirt cheap, change their material to Test or something?

i can't, that would be cheating that faction in my eyes and i'd rather keep fighting new factions that have interesting stuff rather than the same cheated faction over and over and over and over and over and over..

Metagame against AI is not challenging at all in the first place, I'd recommend playing something like skirmish defense instead.

i actual tend to play wave defense now but it isn't really a challenge, as for saw the only thing that makes them OP is their shielding once you break that which is fairly simple with explosives or the bulk of the dummy gear you'll find you will have a easy time killing them.

Your honestly better off creating artificial difficulty than trying to find harder and harder factions to fight. What I mean by that is:

Don't farm gold - This ruins any semblence of balance in the campaign, try and end missions as fast as possible.
Only have 1 miner - Usually your brain
Only order units near your brain/base - Don't drop units on top of the enemies position.
Don't use drop crates filled with explosives - They are overpowered.
Only use auto build - So you can't design a very overpowered base.
Let the AI take all the locations except one and only defend - Let the AI gain a huge advantage in locations and gold, once all the locations have been revealed and the AI has fully build all of their bases, then you can start attacking.
Don't use dummies - Dummies are actual a very strong faction in the hands of a player, not using them for a change might make it more difficult.

If you've already been doing all of that, you'll need to get creative.
Limit yourself to one squad of units - 4 actors + a brain
Limit yourself to only zombies
Limit yourself to only tradestar units.

I find it very hard to believe, that following all of those rules, you were able to win the campain on nuts! against space marines or saw.

Space Marines with these rules wouldn't be hard as most of the time they get stuck on certain levels and dig them self into a hole, as for saw i haven't bother to try them in campain more wave defense with dummy's and whatever is on hand..

but if i'm honest it seems easier to fix the AI rather than try and create your own rules just to give it a handicap.. when it would be better to correct the problem!?

Oh, yeah, I forgot about the problems with terrain in base CC. You could also try and do what I did: Just buff the terrain materials by 30-50 points of structural integrity. That solves most of the "units destroying terrain by walking on it" problems. You might also want to buff the base diggers though.

Now your beginning to understand! because in the long run its far more easier to replace something sub-standard which will create problems with something superior that will solve the problem rather than forcing a pond your community and its players to introduce their own rules sets just to make up for something in the game that could be fixed by its developers.
