I ask because no one seems to be doing it. Some of the best mods were made by people who are no longer around, and certainly aren't going to do it themselves... and even the mods that are brand new still don't seem to be making it into the Workshop.

I'm hesitant to start posting mods to the Workshop because I know how possessive and protective people get about anyone possibly "stealing" other people's work.

Perhaps the best people to post all the highest quality mods, are the MODS of the forums! I doubt anyone would argue against them putting files in the Workshop.


Anyways I just wanted to start the ball rolling, because at the moment....the Workshop ball seems to have stopped.

I put my scenes in. Dunno what people think of 'em, but by golly, I did it.

I uploaded any of my mods that I thought were relevant.

You could probably PM author's asking them politely to get their mods onto the workshop.

I was personally kind of waiting for steam to make something like this (A Mod Manager):


But... I can't seem to get Steam to back something like this.

Eh, I think it would be a little sticky if a mod were to choose favorites.

Do whatever you want as long as it is within the rules of the workshop and the forum.

Perhaps try PMing the mods' creators first; that'll send them an email to get the ball rolling.

Or you know, what about making the steam guys visit DRLFF more? Since you can still put mods in your game without necesarilly using the workshop. Yeah, it defeats the purpose and w/e, but it would be nice to have some more people here.
