FUKKEN CENTRATION AMIRITE
So uh.. Yeah. Centration. To any of you nooblets who have played Space Station 13 by Exadv1, he's making Space Station 13 in 3D. Heavy Pre-Alpha though... not going to be close to finished until the end of the year if I am not corrected. http://www.centration.co/story/overviewPre-Ordering is 8 bucks for the average joe. Anyways, DISCUSSETH! EDIT!: Did I say the end of this year? Good jolly swashbuckler hohoy. I meant 'The fourth quarter of 2014.' Sorry sons, you gon's have to waits.

Re: FUKKEN CENTRATION AMIRITE
Eh, SS13 went down a lot after the source got leaked by AZA, mostly due to the community getting worse.. It never even got frigging merged with the other half of the game, nor did it ever get it's deorbit mechanics.

Yeah, SS13 sort of grinded to a halt progress-wise, but it's still a good concept and a lot of fun if you find a server you like. I mean, I don't knowof any other games where the xenomorphs can take over the escape shuttle if you're not careful about, instantly killing anyone who tries to get in and wiping out the station. That was a fun round.

Re: FUKKEN CENTRATION AMIRITE
have fun with your space doors simulator
no really, this project is hopeless; they have tons of people "on the team" and plenty of funds, and theyre working in unity for christ's sake, yet they only have fancy doors and pre-rendered atmospheric depressurization, after months of work

That was a fun round. No, I mean the game used to be a lot more serious and more fun. Back in a beta, the version that would've came out after the one where the game came open source, as in, the game became open source before this version came out had a fudge ton of extra features over that version. It had the deorbit system, for instance. We played meteor, Exadv1 was on, he was a pretty chill guy back then but I ain't spoke to him for a long time. Anyway, meteors pounded the station, destroyed the fuel tanks for the engines to boost the station and we crashed into the surface. Most of the crew were killed, round went on since the escape shuttle hadn't been called since the newly added communications array was damaged heavily. We ended up surviving on the harsh surface of some god forsaken hell hole for three hours before we finally managed to get the parts from various rooms of the now shattered station to call the shuttle. We had an early, pretty glitchy version of food and you needed to have different food stuffs otherwise you started to get health problems. My brother was on in that round, he was playing with the programming system. He copied the software from the smashed communications console to a separate console and had to install and boot the software manually. Was a fun round. Not quite as fun as the time he created a network worm that deleted all the computers on the station. We had to manually disconnect the networking cables and reinstall the computers one by one. He would've got brig time for that if they found him inside the round

Miggles wrote: what the ♥♥♥♥ are you talking about? that sounds nothing like SS13 to me You've only played SS13 after it went open source, aka after the goons started work on the game. You ain't played the beta nor the version before the source was released. I played it long before then. Take a look at Console on BYOND, also by Exadv1. That's the other half of the game. They were supposed to be merged but Exadv only ever managed to do so on in his test build, which is the one I referred to in that post. The source that was released wasn't that version, so it was missing those features when work started on it by new hands.

Re: FUKKEN CENTRATION AMIRITE
Damn. I'll still hold out hope for Centration. And maybe SS13 will become what it was supposed to be eventually. I suppose I'll just put them on my "Do nothing and wait for things to either get better or worse and see wether or not I should play it"
