TheKebbit | Jotun (Roll: 6)
Jotun uses the communications center to order the drones to begin repairing the systems used for refinement and to resume normal operations as best as is possible. He then goes to the nearest emergency shuttle bay, just a few meters outside the door of the communications center. Nearly all of the escape pods once contained by the room are gone, but a single one remains sealed up in a protective chamber. He overrides the security and lowers the shielding chamber, revealing a nearly new-looking escape pod, almost untouched by time. There's a loud hiss as it decompresses and opens up, allowing Jotun to step inside. The space within is rather roomy- the pods are designed to carry up to ten humanoids at a time. They are equipped with a 72 hour oxygen reserve, have almost no lighting, and are rather uncomfortable to ride in due to their massive engines, which are nearly guaranteed to get the on-board crew to the nearest planet in a star system, but which are also extremely loud. Without further ado, Jotun closes the entrance hatch, allows the pod to pressurize, and sets the course to Kyoto, the space port of Mendringan IV. The pod is pulled into an airlock by a rusty hydraulic arm before the bay closes, triggering the opening of the outer airlock. There's an audible click in the pod as its engines begin to boot up, followed by a whining hum that increases in pitch and power before an explosive start sends the shuttle rocketing towards Mendrigan IV. (Arrival next turn) ============================================= Appearance: Droid with an AMEC Corporate Security Frame [Designation 3-5-Maintenance] Has a strangely unique "face" via a digital communications screen; does not seem capable of electronic contact. Klish goes to the starting position and Solf cycles in the new round of dummies. With a deep inhalation, Klish releases a massive Corrosive Cloud that quickly floods the target area. The dummies rapidly pop up only to melt in the thick cloud of acid. The armored dummies begin to pop up and slowly but surely suffer the same fate. "Oh. I wanted to make sure it would go far enough the first time, but I guess I overdid it." Klish says as the acid begins to disperse. "Haha, overdid it? Hell, don't think I've seen anyone take out every target with one attack!" Solf replies, clearly impressed. "Must've damn near drained your Ether reserves doing that. That's a deadly attack for sure, though maybe a little imprecise. Still, if you can pump out that much power, I guarantee you I can train you to control it." ============================================= Appearance: 5'9", reptilian humanoid alien with green eyes, green-brown scales, and a scar of a slash across his cheek. ===Equipment=== Primary Weapon: Scaler Rifle [40|120] ---Assault rifle that fires scale shards at high velocity.
