Well, you head up to deck and peek out, see a giant winged ferret thing, and decide not to question it too much. Maybe if your magic was working, but now you're pretty helpless. It's not killing the others anyway, so it's probably friendly. "I don't see why not. I believe she's resting below. Would you like to wait for her to awaken, or would you like me to take you to her, if you're in a hurry?" Then she is asleep? That is ideal. Bring her up, and do not awaken her if possible. And most important, keep her away from any source of magic, strong or weak.

I do not know her preferences, nor do they matter here. I must return with her to the dominion of the Great Sky as soon as possible.

Drag Troy well aside/out of earshot and whisper
"I don't like this, fate can act rashly but this seems a bit too sudden to be true. We should try and get a bit more proof it only has good intentions before we hand over the girl."

 Re: Legends of the Sky
"Fair enough, Grif..." >Go back to conversation. "Alright, Seeker, you mentioned that she could perhaps be a danger anywhere around magic. We have plenty of magic on this vessel. The ship is powered by a strong magical crystal. My sword resonates with energy- hell, it can talk. She was around all of this and didn't react in any way. So, if you see what I'm getting at, she doesn't seem like a threat to me. Now, I'm not attempting to be disrespectful or challenge any sort of authority you may have in this Dominion of the Great Sky, but I hope you understand that I don't have any reason to believe you- and the fact that you said her preferences don't matter concerns me. I apologize if this doesn't seem very important to you, as I can imagine that you're impatient to complete your mission. However, given that I've accepted that little girl onto my vessel, I am now responsible for her well-being, and I can assure you that I will not seek my own convenience over her's. I don't have any issue giving her to a guardian and returning her to her rightful home. I do have an issue with sending an innocent child away with a stranger."

 Re: Legends of the Sky
Troy converses with Grif for a moment, and the two agree that "Alright, Seeker, you mentioned that she could perhaps be a danger anywhere around magic. We have plenty of magic on this vessel. The ship is powered by a strong magical crystal. My sword resonates with energy- hell, it can talk. She was around all of this and didn't react in any way. You obviously have not been made aware of the threat she poses, seeing as your vessel is not only intact, but even functional, and that you are all still alive and well. She can be in the presence of magic without it affecting her, barring anything sufficiently powerful to radiate its magic uncontrollably. Your weapon, while in tune with magic in an unusual way, is certainly no source of it. I do however sense a large and potent source deeper in the ship, one certain to bring about the girl's abnormality if she were to come into physical contact with it. As for your own opinion, it does not concern me in this matter either. I am here to collect the girl, regardless of what you may wish. The danger she poses to the Great Sky is too large to overlook, and our ability to contain such a power is far beyond that which the Lower Sky could muster. The Vanash and their guardians value peaceful discourse first and foremost, but if you refuse me the girl, I will be forced to consider you enemies of both the Lower and the Great Skies.
Even with this ominous threat at the end, the ferret's expression and body language never change from calm and collected, and the tone of the voice in your heads is steady and even. It's not a threat, but a statement of fact.

 Re: Legends of the Sky
Idk, to be honest we really don't have much of a choice, it's either we hand over the McGuffin or we act out of our alignment and steal the girl. Okok, last ditch effort, wake the girl and ask her about the ferret thing.

Also, she was never asleep. Just clarifying. Re: Legends of the Sky
If the ♥♥♥♥' ferret says she's a threat to everyone on board, and everyone in the "Great Sky" and "Vanash" or ♥♥♥♥ think she's dangerous, I say we hand her over. Let's go to the Northern Empire. I bet we could topple it.
