Mark looks at the towering spire in front of him.
"Well ♥♥♥♥."
This thing is huge, like, REALLY huge, that pink haired air head only said there were alot of stairs, she didn't say 'Ascend to the ♥♥♥♥ heavens'. Look at that! at least 70% of the whole structure is stairs, It's just ♥♥♥♥ stairs as far as the eye can ♥♥♥♥ see! Well, right up into the storm at least, but that's still a good 3Km's up.
"What?"
That Ulysses guy seems like he couldn't care less about the whole 'climb to the heavens' thing. Mark sighs,
"She warned me about the stairs, it's just... You know what, never mind, just remember I said to ditch that thing back when we found it"
mark points to the chest on Ulysses back
"Greater chest of resurrection my ass, it's magically sealed and as far as I'm concerned it's just dead weight."
"She told you to get it? Then we take it, it has to be important if she wants it."
"Yeah yeah, just remember I warned when the air starts to thin"
Mark takes the first step,
"Just because she got me to save your life doesn't mean you have to follow me, hell, I doubt she'd notice if I failed to show."
Turning, Mark finds Ulysses whip straight pass him, taking the steps 2 at a time.
"Hurry up! No need to keep the others waiting!"
"Oh for the love of- WAIT!! SLOW DOWN!!! YOU'LL EXHAUST YOURSELF, YOU ♥♥♥♥!!!"

Halfway up, the sun begins to dip beneath the horizon and Ulysses slows to a walking pace, with Mark on his hands and knees begging him to stop, turns out Dwarven Denim isn't exactly the best pants for climbing.
Camp is set up on a more destroyed part of the spire, and the heroes have time to Chat, rest, and or get their bearings from a relatively short introduction.
Topics for tonight might include, 'Whats your story? What the ♥♥♥♥ are we doing here? or Why would someone build such a large spire with an open aired staircase and more importantly, why are we climbing it?
