Re: My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, the thread That said, I thought some of the latter episodes of this season were a bit meh, but this one was (imo) pretty damn awesome despite above mentioned stuff. So for me it ended on a high note, and these developments could make for some interesting story come the next season. After all, it can't be easy keeping things fresh when the characters stay the same for so long and they don't really change setting a lot either. Personally, I'd love to see some more regular adventure arc(s). The Crystal Empire and sort of gritty looking medieval bits of Canterlot were pretty sweet to see in the first two eps and Trixie ep respectively, and seeing some different parts of the world would be awesome (Saddle-Arabia). Also hope (I think it is) the next season will be a full one again. Half season is just not the same...  |

EDIT also I think what they mean is that the two-parter to kick-off season 4 is going to be a direct follow-up |

Re: My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, the thread It was fun to watch but it really didn't do what it set out to do, which was to create an episode that could be considered equal of that to the series.
Personally I think if they dropped all pretenses and just made the whole thing a crossover, that would have been great. |
