Now normally I'm not one to dump these kinds of links on people, but you seriously need to give this game your support on Steam Greenlight. It's not fair that this game isn't getting enough attention yet.



The Intruder will have you wake up in any number of locations, only faded memories and an instinctive fear that it will be back. Soon.

Using only vague clues of your memory (this will be a game mechanic, stopping and trying to remember where things are by piecing together your visual memories) you will have to find something to defend yourself, as well as feed yourself and sleep to remain strong and alert. You don't know when it will be back, but it will. Will you forgo a nights rest to barricade your house? Will you scavenge for weapons or is it too late? What's that noise in the basement..?

Go vote this up on Greenlight, and spread the word. As it stands this unique and scary game idea only has a fraction of the votes needed to get it on Steam. Do your part, and watch your back.

I don't entirely enjoy horror games or get that thrill that other people do, maybe not for me.

But yeah the creator has danced around it but seems to be implying it's merely inspired by the Slenderman mythos, he openly admits that Marble Hornets helped shaped how he thought about it. Strictly speaking though I don't think The Intruder is a Slenderman game.

I saw the trailer and that guy with a suit looks like having a white face. And with that thing of "DO YOU REMEMBER" "WHERE YOU LEFT IT" and that corrupt sounds, it reminds be a lot of Marble Hornets' videos.

What exactly is the intruder? Is it some random guy with a knife coming to kill you? Or is it an actual monster?

Based on the video, my guess is that it's Slenderman.

I can't wait to watch playthroughs of this. It always fun to watch people cower in fear from imaginary enemies.

So I neglected to check up on The Intruder for a while.

It's been greenlit, and it will appear on steam as a commercial product.

Get a few spare pairs of pants, you'll need 'em.

I heard that the Slender Man model was just used to make that video. The Intruder won't be Slendy.
