I'm super flattered to have been mentioned even once, you guys are too kind. c:

Also, my list includes but isn't limited to these fine folks in no particular order:
- zalo
- Darlos9D
- capnbubs
- amrobotics
- numgun
- TheLastBanana
- Grif
- Gotcha!

Doesn't feel right to single out people as favourites though, so i'll finish up by saying that all modders deserve epic props. You're all what's keeping the game alive. c:

You're a darling p3lb0x. I guess I have come a long way, haven't I?

I have to say Abdul and Cavecricket are my favourite dudes.

Abdul for the being amazed by the outcome of his mods, and then looking inside the files to have no ♥♥♥♥ idea how it works but rainbows and unicorns.

Cavecricket for pretty much above better somewhat understanding his scripts more, also for teaching me some minor lua skills and how to understand it, which itself is already enough to love someone.

EDIT:Personally I think threads like this are terrible.

I'm sure every modder in this community (Including me, I admit) has looked at the thread title and had that self conscious thought of "I wonder if I'm mentioned".

Really, It feels kinda demotivating and degrading to see things like this. I know it seems like it's just everyones opinion but it's like being invited to a party but no one want's to talk to you.

Yes, but this isn't an exclusive list, you are just mentioning your favorites.

Also I was just playing around with some Mehman's mods, and if I didn't mention him before, I'm doing it now.
He is one of the modders that makes scripts that are impossible to understand, along with TLB (in his brain mod that could control stuff for example), akblabla, Abdul and CaveCricket.

Haha, glad to know at least someone appreciates me. :/

Come on man, a few of my mods were actually pretty decent. The Relic, Lunar Lasers, The delivery teleporter, the parachute, those floating bayonet drones from like 2 years ago. They might have been a bit buggy, and I may have released a lot of half finished things, but I can proudly say a lot of my mods, especially the recent ones, were innovative and fun. (Though often pretty ugly to look at). Not to necro this thread.

Hahahahahaha, I forgot about that one. 90% of the time I was just dicking around and trying to build things that entertained me, quality wasn't generally the goal. I actually really enjoyed that car, it was so bad it was good imo. My friend had given me the idea for using the clipart. Did I ever release my swarm of heat-seeking bricks mod? That thing was ♥♥♥♥ priceless. By so bad it was good, I mean like Childrens cartoons or some low budget action movies. I did do a few serious mods that I would consider myself committed to and proud of, though, Like the Relic, etc. I don't know if you ever played them but if not you should give it a shot. I'm actually expanding the Relic Atm, I'm adding in a coin that, when used, ♥♥♥♥ up the game in various chaotic and random ways so it can reverse the tide of battle. (Changes gravity, makes troops much harder to kill, makes troops nearly dead, equips both sides with super weapons, makes clones defect to random teams, etc). It's really fun in multiplayer.

TheLastBanana, Abdul Alhazred, weegee, numgun, amrobotics, piezo, JAGO, Djinn, Electroclan, Grif, Alenth, ASH33, Kyred, Cavecricket48, and capnbubs made some really great mods.

numgun, Shook, Capnbubs, and Darlos really churned out quite a lot of original ideas in their massive packs.

It's a real shame that so many of the great mods are now lost. One mod a while ago called the "Stone Cutter" was one of the first rockets that switched the up and down thrusters to make a projectile laser. At the time, it blew my mind that you could take something as well defined as a rocket, and (literally) turn it on its head.

I'm hesitant to include JAGO, but his one contribution was Tomato, so it evens out.

Yes. Everyone you mentioned zalo. JAGO's scene was my favorite for a simple skirmish map. Gotcha! was great to work with while betatesting his map pack, and amrobotics will always be my personal favorite for his tunneler and GiantCannon. Here are a few more modders I believe deserve praise:

meloen (I commissioned some background artwork from him once that blew away most everything at the time, and have you SEEN Trading Center?)

Lord Tim (made some very interesting conceptual work, and a great lua-driven weather module)

Azukki (it's a shame he hasn't been mentioned here yet, really. Perhaps my second favorite modder currently active.)

Also, I still have most of those old great mods and there are still downloads for old builds in the Devlog. Anybody wants a copy of a mod, PM me. I'm more than happy to share them.

Lord Tim wasn't the one who made the IRC scene, was he?

Yes. Yes he was.

Does anyone remember playing his Waterfalls scene the first time? It was the future, man... (as in, hacky environmental elements)
