Favorite Games of All Time.
I'm bored, so let's list our favorite games and why.
Metal Gear Solid 3- Probably my all time favorite game, so many little details and hilariousness, I'm still finding new things to this day. Fallout 3- Same thing, spent hundreds of hours just faffing around, I still haven't 100% completed everything. World of Warcraft (Burning Crusade)- This WAS my childhood. I have a million good memories of hanging out with guildies, this saw me through some bad times.
Now you.

Re: Favorite Games of All Time
Dragon's Dogma: A beautiful world with an... interesting plot, combined with the amazing endgame and a really cool antagonist make this game one of my favorites.
Dark Souls: The challenge of this game is like no other modern game. The the rewarding sense of accomplishment felt when beating a difficult boss after dying tens of times is like no other.
Metal Gear Solid 3: Same reasons as Benpasko, along with the amazing plot. RIP Boss.
Monster Hunter Freedom Unite: Just all around fun. I had a few friends that also had this game, and we spent around 100 or so cumulative hours beating the multiplayer content. By myself, I had logged about 400 hours into it. Too bad I lost the game. It should be around here somewhere.
Cortex Command: It just keeps you coming back for more! The modding community is great, and new things are released about every week or so, allowing for continuous content to be added to the game.
Patapon 2: A very fun series of games with an innovative combat system. Number 2 remains my favorite, as it takes everything that 1 had, and improves upon it.
That should be it. I'm sure that I have more, but I have a terrible memory.

I feel like the only person on Earth who was disappointed by Dragon's Dogma. The game just completely failed to satisfy me at all, it felt so mediocre.

I can't really pick favorites because I love so many games, but I have been playing Dragon Nest lately and it's really fun.

Monster Rancher 2 - Super fulfilling monster training sim style thinger. The best in the series in my opinion.
Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne - Can't stop playing custom games godamnit.
Command and Conquer Generals - I love this RTS with my life.
Cortex Command - Obvious reasons.
METAL SLUG: ALL [mostly 4 i think] - need i say more?

Re: Favorite Games of All Time.
Age of Empires 2 - (with The Conquerors expansion) RTS perfection.
Battlefield 2 - Mainly because of mods (Project Reality), but had a lot of good times playing vanilla BF2 as well. Squadding up with friends was always fun, and still is with PR.
Half Life and Portal series - Games with great gameplay and great stories. Each of them really left me with that feel of when you've just finished reading a book or finished watching a great movie.
Men of War - (and Soldiers: Heroes of World War II) for it's physics and flexible, random gameplay. Physics and destruction like that were never seen before in strategy games when Soldiers came out and it just blew my mind.

FOR THE NOSTALGIA: Crash Bandicoot 1-3 Spyro 1-3 Super Mario World Spongebob Battle for Bikini Bottom and The Spongebob Movie Game (ok seriously shut the ♥♥♥♥ up, these are actually REALLY great games) WHY: They're all fun games and they're really great. They also bring a lot of nostalgia from when I was younger.

Re: Favorite Games of All Time.
Age of Empires 2 + The Conquerors. My favourite rts ever. Basically defines my childhood. Still playing it. Rome, Medieval 2 and Shogun 2 from the Total War series. Large-scale battles and Civilization combined? <3 Half-Life 1, 2 and episodes. My favourite single-player fps games. Portal 1 and 2. My favourite first person puzzle games. Call of Duty 1, 2 and 4 for semi-mindless manshooting. Battlefield 2 (with Project Reality) My favourite not-so-mindless manshooting. Stronghold + Stronghold Crusader. No other game like them. All the old Mario games for SNES. Used to play the ♥♥♥♥ out of them with a friend.
Lots of other stuff too, but cba to list it here.

Re: Favorite Games of All Time.
Demon's Souls: I remember my friend telling me to get this game a long time ago, then when I saw him play it, Insta-buy. Leads up to Dark souls.
Shadow of the Colossus: Incredible game, even for the PS2. A lot of people treat the game as a Boss-only kind of game but its really more of an eye candy puzzle game with a storyline thing going on.
Metal Gear Solid 4: Probably one of the most realistic games I've played, even with it being in a futuristic setting.
Also various GameBoy games, such as Advanced Wars, Metroid Fusion, and all the Pokemon games I had played.
