Yogventures?!
Hey guys i was just wondering how many of you people are yogscast fans? You guys may have heard of their newest game they are working on called yogventures, right? They are asking their fans to pledge or "back" at least one dollar and so i saw a list of how much you can give and i was by it. And there was an option to GIVE 10,000/ 5,000 flippin dollars and i thought who the fk would give that much money- i was wrong, 5 people gave away 10000 dollars and 5 others gave 5000 dollars, and the prize was everything above the list and they get to play a role in their SOI series "Shadow Of Israphel" if you want to give some money url is right here----> http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/winterkewlgames/yogventuresso post below of what you think and good bye. This is probably going to be the only topic i am ever going to make

Really? i watch totalbiscuit, Jessie, Crendor, sips, sjin, hannah, lanna(i like him better than sips cuz sips always wants to nuke him) and alot of time captainsparklez and antvenom.... also TheMediaCows those 4 are just hilarious. I find all of them equally hilarious and none of em are boring. Espicially because they all suck at playing games....

I watch TB too, and birgirpall and Criken, but Jessie is my favorite.

On the contrary, Strat, I find that Duncan is quite good at games. Almost.. professional. geddit cos he gets paid for his videos
Anyway, I think that just about anyone who cares probably already knows about the project.

We have entered the glut phase of open world sandbox modifiable environment procedurally generated world games, I believe. All of those video game commentators are boring imo, they're playing a game for you that is far more fun when you actually go play it yourself.

Re: Yogventures?!
There is the fact that you may not own the game, and you want to look for a reason to buy it. Maybe they're playing exclusive, unreleased content either vanilla or modded because they're making it/have the first cut of the cake, so to speak. Maybe they're funny or entertain you.
I just think that saying "why not play the game instead" is a bad argument. There are literally hundreds of reasons to watch the video.

Re: Yogventures?!
To add on to Miggle's statement, I have a relatively moderate-grade pc, and I don't like putting the time and effort into playing a game that I will eventually abandon within the first couple hours. Some people prefer to watch instead of do.

I prefer my content not spoiled. Surprises are fun Miggles wrote: Maybe they're funny or entertain you. I do not look for humour. I don't really have a sense for it. This is my own opinion. I am not trying to persuade.

I have a crappy computer and no disposable income, so I can't play 90% of the games people comment on. That said, I only watch Two Best Friends. They're the hypest, by far.

Re: Yogventures?!
They are crap, as are all their contemporaries. I very much doubt their game will be notable either. Cube World has a head start anyway, and it's made by someone with purer motives.
