 Re: Any Dwarf Fortress players out there? Yes, Melting does normally suck, Does it not? I mean, It is something to avoid right? And dragons.... that is their job no? Can't get a hoard of gold without melting a few dozen haripan's now can we?

Re: Any Dwarf Fortress players out there? Well. That's stupid. What's the use of a dragon if not to guard something valuable!? I mean, What makes the dragon get up in the morning if not to look at all the shinies?

Re: Any Dwarf Fortress players out there? I miss playing, what was it, build 16 or something. They had actual functioning towns. With individual homes for each married couple + children, not like fifteen person per house.. And working markets, and town leaders that gave out missions, not random citizens. My best memory from that time was me verses Scalyanus the Dragon (I kid thee not.) at his cave, Pregnancypoint. I'm going to try to find that build.

I'm intregued now, why would Toady downgrade towns? they sounded so perfect from your description.

Re: Any Dwarf Fortress players out there? Make a burrow that includes all the insides of your fort and then set your alert level so that all dorfs will stay inside that burrow.
