Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Sorry, Natti. But dwarven armour is the ugliest in my opinion. /runandhide
Does anyone (who does not play a nord character) experience racism from nords? (My character is a nord, so I don't think I'll be having problems with that.)

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
The Nords hate everyone who is not a Nord, I have no idea how Bethesda expected anyone who thinks about the actual implications of what their character is doing to join the Stormcloaks if they are not a Nord because the Nords literally want to kick everyone who is not a Nord out of Skyrim. Of course a lot of people don't care a jot how much sense their characters' motives make.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I've noticed some racism, but it's not very pronounced racism. For instance, in Windhelm (I think, it might be some other Stormcloak city) I ran into some notes confronting a dark elf lady saying she's not wanted in the city, etc. The same Nords then told me they hated anybody other than Nords, especially Dark Elves and Argonians. And then he asked me if I liked Argonians. I'm an Argonian.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
You actually get the option to say "I think Skyrim would be better without inferior races like myself" to certain Stormcloaks if you're not a Nord, unfortunately the game doesn't realise that I wanted to say it sarcastically. Or maybe the Nord was too stupid to pick it up.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
TES games were always heavy on racism, it makes for a better setting IMO. I'm playing a heavy armored dark elf mage (DESTRUCTION EVERYWHERE), I do shitloads of enchanting and blacksmithing but damn, I pick Elven Armor perk instead of Dwarwen Armor without realizing that elven armour is light :S Now I feel like cheating to move that perk.

It'll have to wait, I started a mage character for the lulz and I'm having fun with them (even if it's pretty hard to transition from being a lv46 one hand specialist badass to a lowly lv 4).

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Leather Bracers are best. You can get Leather really easily, they only take 1 Leather and 2 Leather Strips each, and they're worth more than Iron Daggers, so you make much more money selling them than you would daggers.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I've yet to find any other words of whirlwind charge but I can't imagine they'll be that useful unless they decrease the cooldown or dramatically increase the range, far rather have it spammable than moving slightly further for 3x the cooldown.
