No, not really. His company sells a bunch of overpriced ♥♥♥♥, he was one of many companies who have taken the route of more and more DRM, and he most certainly did not invent the smartphone. If Steve Jobs hadn't co-created macs, then there would have been another alternative for your dad to prefer over Windows. Which would have had Wolfenstein on it.
