now all i can do is play it...i cant ad mods...i can only play it if i launch as admin....>:(

I don't use the mod manager so I really can't help you, you could try starting the game without the mod manager.

About the factions is every player supposed to control a different faction, that are each part of one of the two teams or should there be only two factions, and several players per faction?

the whermacht? yeah! germans vs brits! ok map......do you all have map pack 3? if not dont DL it it needs things to work and is a hassle...i want to get this thing started!!! if not then we will use a vanilla map!

2. I thought this was CorTEXT Command? Why do we have to download all the mods in question?

Indeed, if this is to be the exact same thing you get when playing the game, with mods and maps from the game, why bother doing it in a forum game rather than actually playing the game? A CC inspired forum game would be great, but a copy would not be interesting imo.

yeah....well, we have 4 players so we can start. the main purpose of this was to have CC online, sorta. there is no working online mod for CC atm, and there probably never will be! i just always loved those text things, zombie apocolypses, mostly i do it with friends and i make it so i give them options and they chose, i would also do some things as my own character. im just doing it this way so you guys get more freedom.

Ok, then. So how about we just use the factions already provided instead of making a team based thing. IMO putting together two random dudes to work over a faction is kind of a hassle and over complicates what could be such an easy task if we just each had our own faction. It doesn't really matter; both UKB and Wehrmacht are adapted versions of their original selves to fight in the war on Midas; and as such they are both close to the same time period as every thing else, including high-tech factions like UniTec.

TL;DR

4 factions plox no teamwork

i didnt quite understand what you ment by that interesting rant...it does make sense though, ok FFA.

whats IMO

whats TL;DR

the other 2 factions that were mentioned (lizard and triclon) are somewhat higher tech and may be unfair...but lets go with it.

since it is FFA we dont need bunkers, we will just duke it out on a map. how about desert? its smooth and no details need to be remembered.
