Re: The Lounge
I horribly suck at cooking. The best I can do is porridge. That 1-minute fast porridge.

Re: The Lounge
Decent stir fry (especially ramen stir fry, goddamn excellent food for my tight budget), almost anything with mushrooms or eggs (though no good at sufle - who is?), I can do pasta if I need to. Not so good at baking, I can make a cake with the recipe at hand but never find the time and am likely out of practice. Various breakfast foods too, since someone mentioned porridge - semolina is my favourite on a chilly morning. I think I'll have that tomorrow.
Cooking is damn fun, just because you end up with glorious food at the end of it.

Re: The Lounge
Ever tried making a cake?
I did, first, many years ago in school H.E. class - It was amazing, looked awesome too.
Then, a few months ago now i'm uni, don't get me wrong, it tasted nice, just looked like a pile of ♥♥♥♥! i did waaaaaaaaaaay too much icing, which i also got the recipe wrong, i undercooked the cake itself causing it to collapse and splint further when i had to cut it in half and i tried to make whipped cream with a fork incase i didn't have enough icing....
Was fun though!

Re: The Lounge
Lemme start out by saying I'm AMAZING at baking. I have not had a recipe turn out bad that I've attempted. I've made bread, cookies, lemon bars, cake, brownies, pie, all the good things, and every single one was gone within a few days.
Cooking otherwise, well, if I have a recipe I can do it but I can't improvise for the life of me. Cooking alone, I'll usually end up with Ramen or a PB&J. Though I do a bang-up Ramen as well, because using the flavor packets by themselves is lazy and cheating.

Re: The Lounge
I'm meh at cooking. I could probably cook pretty well, except that I like very little foods, so I would never want to taste my food. Which is kinda a problem. I find it hard to pee through a boner myself. Usually have to force it out, which hurts.

Re: The Lounge
I'm teaching myself how to play piano, and I'm not half bad already.
Food wise, I can improvise pretty well, provided I have some specific materials, then I can mix and match as much as I want.

Re: The Lounge
Please tell me you guys don't eat instant ramen like noobs.
Contrary's Ramen Recipe (alliteration ♥♥♥♥!): Boil water in pot Add broth mix and stir well Add some eggs, 2-3 eggs per package. When eggs are almost cooked add noodles When the noodles have just reached el dente take that ♥♥♥♥ out and add some grated mozzarella. It has to be mozzarella and also not one of those really oily ones that turn to liquid instantly upon touching anything hot (though that kind is nice in other stuff). You can also add some garlic or whatever if you feel like it.
I'm trying to teach myself to play guitar. I can do broken versions of the first seconds of Blackbird and Stairway.
Also I meant to make a pun in my first post. It was suppose to be "it's really hard" not "it's really difficult" but I ♥♥♥♥ it up. And how to you guys pee sitting down? Do you have vaginas?
Also, Non that random fact was entirely on topic. I am disappoint.
One of my least favourite things in the world are escalators.

Re: The Lounge
Contrary, have you ever peed while taking a dump? Unless you do that standing up too, I imagine you've peed sitting down.

Re: The Lounge
Areku's Ramen recipe! 1- Head over to the oriental district; 2- Find a small, unassuming door on the side of a small building, with no signs whatsoever of being a restaurant; 3- Knock on the door and say the secret code words; 4- Order this: Shio negi tonkotsu with extra chasu and nori. Oh gog soooooooo goooood... *drools* Also, costs like five bucks and keeps you fed for three days. Oh, and Contrary, doing it while sitting down requires much less coordination and effort, you should try it some time. Perhaps when taking a dump, as Tomaster so thoughtfully suggested.

POPTART CAT. YES, ON ALL 4 WALLS. while lounging in a swivel chair and pointing your arms outwards towards the animated murals of Nyan.

Re: The Lounge
The only time I'll pee sitting down is while taking a dump though. I'd never sit down just to pee. That's just...not manly.
