Vlad slowly follows after the girl but stops in his tracks when he hears a shout from ahead: "Hey ... Hey! Is anyone out there?" It sounds like it's Tyler, but how did he catch up to the group? Vlad pokes his head out around the tree he's behind and spots the girl semi-crouched and poised for action. He takes this as his chance. Vlad drops the Containment Unit ever-so-lightly onto the ground and slowly sneaks up behind the girl. Her head swivels around as she tries to find where the shout came from. Vlad gets within about ten metres and flicks his knife around in his hand so it's pointing down, then quickens his steps to kill her in true assassin-style. Just as he reaches her with his knife up in the air, she spins around to face him - clear shock on her face - and someone cannonballs into the side of Vlad, completely bowling him over and making him lose the hold on his knife. They separate after rolling along and Vlad is quick to get back to his feet. He reaches around to grab his shotgun but it's not over his shoulder any more - instead, it is lying on the ground between him and this new Man. The Man gets up quickly and reaches for his hip where the butt of a pistol sits. Vlad dives for the shotgun, wraps his hand around the handle and trigger and a boot stomps over the barrel of the gun, pinning it to the ground.
