The vines continue to creep onward, up along the ceiling, until they hang down onto the meteor that has brought this specimen here - as soon as it roots in, the rich nutrients will drive it to find other sources of food.
Behind the thick veil of tendrils, the air is now so thick with the volatile vapors that any poor creature wandering in dies in seconds - unfortunately, the only things small enough to get past the first two defenses are not enough to sustain such a quick-growing organism.
