They could use wood as armor, but it'd be very flimsy and not really suited for anything.
Metal in general can be used, but they don't use stone.
They can't ReArrange organic matter, just smash it to pulps.

The tendrils climb upwards, snaking towards the top of the cave. As they connect, they drop limply, writhing as if alive - anyone entangled on the tendrils along the floor wouldn't be in much trouble, but good luck getting out if all appendages have been entangled.
Another pair of the biomass tear into the ground, opening up. Bristles sprout up, and the mantrap is ready to slam shut in an instant, and then it's just a race between suffocation and death by extrusion of internal fluid for whatever is entrapped within.
Back towards the original plant, the air is now thick with vapor. The scent is unbearable, and anything unlucky enough to make it past the past two obstacles will slowly begin to deteriorate - first their hair and epidermis will fall off, then the muscles and remaining fat and skin will turn to muck. If one manages to survive that, their brain will literally become sludge - then their bones, and any organic material that remains, wherein it will be absorbed into the ground to continue to feed this strange plant.

Also, additional question: I've been using paint, but I can't figure out one thing: Is there some way to rotate a selection by a custom degree? Because in the Flip/Rotate menu it only lets me rotate it by 90 degrees, 180 degrees, or 270 degrees.
