A large, vaguely head shaped glass structure with a large, glaring red eye grows in front of the tiny stickmen. It stares ceaselessly. Ohgod the eye.
The red glass also surrounds the oily core, and begins pulsing slightly.
Little oil creature, I will absorb you unless you respond. I wish you no harm unless you wish it on me. What do you wish?

I'll declare as soon as I finish my gunship - I have a basic, vaguely-Nebuchadnezzar shape, but I still have to do pretty much everything. So Hyper, while you can kill the oil-thing, please don't murder my entire platoon.

I. Drone one Finishes base fortification. Door added and small sniping room finished.

II. Drone two Uses Tele-Relay function to contact High Command. Small Frigate Enroute. Will be in orbit in two turns.

III. "Heavy" XC-56 Reporting For Duty!

IV.The Missile Fired by the Impacts on the already weakened target vaporising its already weakened head.


V. The sniper bullet on the other hand impacts harmlessly off of a newly constructed block.

VI. Sniper moves to newly constructed perch. Continues carefully watching targets.

Underwater, a low, repeating thud is heard as the walker charges forward and fires at the massive entity. "It just fried the goddamn copter!", reports in the pilot. Thank god for him, this is one of two underwater-capable machines they have, the other being the submarine - though gyrocopters could be fitted with guns similar to the ones on the walkers.

At the sight of the huge 'head' rising up from the ground, a few troops fall back, once again drawing their guns, terrified of this powerful entity. The soldier brave enough to walk up to the material tentatively touches it, laying his weapon down on the crystal. (The gun is just so damn small you can't even see it, but it's there)

Above, a scream is heard as a ship three or four times the size of one of the tanks flies in, too large to have fit in the capsule. It drops hundreds of feet, slowing down and surveying the land below it. Aside from some skirmishes between some of the other factions present, it seems that for now, there is little it can do to help. The pilot considers an air-strike against the strange void-things, wondering whether or not it should unleash one of two powerful warheads held within.

As a side note, it'd be nice if you didn't make all of your shots travel at a realistic speed, especially the explosive ones. It seems a little rude and overpowered to explode someone's units without giving them time to react, but no matter.


Sir Peters is engulfed in the fire and smoke of a massive explosion from the turret's HE rounds. The inferno sets off some of the experimental tracers, and the Maxim's ammunition explodes, adding to the explosion.

The Flare lands atop the airship, setting it alight.

While you do have a point Geti, it is also why we generally discourage people from playing with armies of one man.
It makes everyone else's troops look completely ridiculous because there's five of them shooting at one guy and they all miss and it's sort of frustrating.

Yeah it's pretty much why one man armies doesn't work.
