From what I've seen .ini skirmishes still sorta work, but Lua ones are better and won't disappear in future builds.

"Better" for me, translates to "Harder to understand".

I refuse to accept responsibility for your inadequacy.

it says

abortion in file /users/admin/development/cortexcommand/cortex/system/reader.cpp,line 534, because reffering to an instance (coalition.rte/revolvercannnon') to copy from that hasn't been defined! in gunship.rte/actors/clones/customweapons.ini at line 90!

Coalition Revolver Cannon has been moved to a different directory. Also, use the edit button.

HIB newbie here...

I cannot get any maps or mods or scenes to work, even the ones that claim support for B24.

Googling has only given me the wisdom that "you just extract the .zip or .rar in your CC directory and play!"

But after doing that with all of the Tartarus mods, and all of the B24 scenes recently released by weegee, everything in the game is the same. No new scenarios, options, or anything.

I don't even see the new scenes in the scene editor selection list.

This is really driving me insane, as I'm dying for new content after playing B24 vanilla for a month (almost daily).

There are two possibilities that may cause this to occur, and I can't tell you how many times we have to tell people.

1. If you are running Win7 or Vista, get Cortex Command out of Program Files immediately. Desktop or My Docs is good.
2. Check that the folders are not "Ready for Archiving" in the properties menu.

I'm using XP, so I don't think either of those apply.

The only unusual thing I'm doing is running CC from an external drive, so it's not installed in C:\..., but in E:\...

This really should not be a problem, but I guess if some problem in Win7 is related to the install location, it may.

The second one still applies to XP.

Can anyone help out. I downloaded and installed Servus Viri & Non Occupabis mod. How do I run it in the game, should it be in the list? Does it show up as a blip on the world map? I'm not sure, I didn't see the name of the mod anywhere yet....

Edit: Oh I installed some others and I see they show up in the list, i guess it depends on the scene sometimes..

I installed b24 over b23 and now i can't play the Campaign. It says "Coming Soon" is this intentional?

All of the things in campaign have been converted to scenarios.
