EDIT: Looking through the topics, apparently there's some group of minecrafters who actively berate server owners for asking for donations to play on the server. I don't know about you but that seems both entirely reasonable and not their business.
SMP requires a lot in the way of server resources to run, asking for donations to offset the costs makes perfect sense.

I'd love to see them try and survive at DRL. Ungrateful little bastards.
