You guys aren't experienced thieves. Don't thieve based on the value of the item, thieve based on its value/weight ratio.
We should also do what Tomaster says and wear no pants.

 Re: Let's Play! Morrowind
Seriously? Nobody wants to join the Morag Tong? I am disappoint.
(Essentially, they are government sanctioned assassins. Well. More like executioners. The point is you get payed to kill people and you don't get in trouble for it.)
ALSO: What Contrary said. It's better to take like a diamond ring instead of lugging a bunch of heavy stuff behind you. Arrows have very high weight-value ratios, for instance; most weapons are average; rings and jewelery are very high; clothing, unless it's enchanted/magical, is typically low.

 Re: Let's Play! Morrowind
Contrary speaks the truth.
You guys are going to have to spend a lot of your money on pants if you want to leave a pair everywhere you rob. Also, I am going to have to spend a lot of time positioning pots in front of genitalia, so thanks for that.
Also, Tomaster, how are you to tell who is a virgin and who isn't? Just assume that everyone is a virgin, seeing as there aren't any children around, I guess.
But yeah, group consensus seems to be; carefully loot the place and leave without pants. You are all crazy.
As for joining the Morag Tong, I have a feeling the first writ you get would mercilessly slaughter you. <3

Why is that?
Also, the pants-leaving thing shouldn't be regular. Just this once, to show our contempt at being left alone.

Hah, I did a pants thing on my thief character, too. I always used to steal pants, and take the pants off of everyone that I killed.

 Re: Let's Play! Morrowind
As a Dark Brotherhood assassin, I would always strip my victims and then drop all of their clothes right next to them (unless it was valuable, of course)

I think we could handle a larva.
Now, an Atronach, that would be trouble. Well. More or less any Daedra except for the Scamps would be trouble at this point.

 Re: Let's Play! Morrowind
I played morrowind ages ago. It's one of the games that convinced me graphical shinyness was for the most part unnecessary when you have a disgusting amount of depth.
I'm actually down for the pants-thievery, we'll be buying a lot of pants but assumably also making quite a lot of coin if we go for valuables. I'm sure you'll quickly pick up prime pot-positioning skills.

 Re: Let's Play! Morrowind
An opportunity presents itself, and I begin to formulate a plan. I decide to check down the end of the corridor first, and find a room with sacks of alchemical ingredients. I search through all of them, greedily taking anything I can find. Even the torches are liberated from their brackets. Now I head back into the main room, and begin to meticulously remove everything in there. If I weren't such a mule, I might have to consider what I take, but luckily that isn't a problem. I got quite a lot of silverware, a worn dagger which I found impaling a note (Hrisskar, I want this dagger sharp as a scamp's claw by morning. Don't think I've forgotten our wager.), a lockpick, and some alcohol and food. I also managed to pick a small chest, which yielded 31 gold. I'm about to leave, when I realise that I haven't quite finished. I let my pants fall to the ground, then fold them and place them on the table, next to the note. The Imperials will think twice about freeing people like me from prison, heh. Through the door, I step into sunshine once more, and a light breeze makes me wonder how the Captain will react. I grab a hanging lantern, and check the barrel, finding a decorative plate and a magical ring of healing. Should be worth something, should I choose not to use it. But the main thing I have to wonder about is that the Captain might not give me my release fee while I'm lacking pants. What should we do?Note: Sorry for the weird end point, but I'm fairly low on time. See you in the evening.

 Re: Let's Play! Morrowind
Go North! Just explore. We will survive on what we find. Kill any sentients we come across as well (once we won't get caught).
EDIT: The two most abundant plants where we are? One, when eaten, given waterbreathing. The other, when eaten, gives waterwalking. Argonians suck.

Argonians are the coolest, don't try to say otherwise.
