Nope. Not medic. In other news, it's fun to run around with a slug loaded usas-12

Medics don't do much until they get their first unlock though. In other news the WWII weapons that came with the limited edition of BC2 are much better than the regular ones.

You get all the wwii weapons even if you don't have the limited edition. If you're a vetaran that is, with the m1 and all.

Re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Perhaps someone should start a new thread for BF:BC2. I'd love to talk about it, but I'd hate to be off-topic.
I guess the most on-topic thing I could offer would be a comparison. I'd have to say that, in my experience, BF:BC2 has more potential, but MW2 just plain plays better. It's probably because I get pings of 250+ on all but a few servers and I have to run with graphics at absolute minimum for it to manage any kind of playable framerate, while MW2 runs smoothly with moderate graphics. I need a better laptop. Either that, or the processor-hungry console optimization overtaxes my laptop.
Yeah, probably the last one.

Re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
This game just continues to be fun. Right after I said "I only like snipers now" I started using other stuff. P90 with Rapid fire is great for ghost class, M16 is broke in general. Mini Uzi with ACOG is surprisingly usable.

Re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
It kills people insanely fast (only two bullets needed with SP) and has extremely little recoil with Holographic. Now don't tell me that Holo is only cosmetic- on the FAL it increases damage to two hit at any range with SP and on the M16 it decreases recoil making it just as good if not better than the FAMAS. Honestly it has like, better than RPD with grip recoil. It has great ammo reliability. You don't need Scavenger and you hardly ever need to reload. You don't need a pistol to back it up. You don't need SoH-it hipfires great. Half my kills are from hipfiring one burst kills.
I guess one could make an argument that it is difficult to kill horizontally moving targets with one burst, but that is a matter of skill and ability. Silencer gets rid of muzzle flash and makes this not too bad. Kill through surfaces while the other is shooting back is pretty difficult, but its so accurate you don't need to (unless you're doing pen kills).
The only real problem I have with it is you can't spray down big groups- but that's more of an SMG+MA+LW type thing anyhow.

Re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
I got to play COD6 today, and it's not that bad. The server deal is annoying though, and holy crap the noob tube+one man army class is utterly ridiculous.

I think you mean the commando pro knife distance is rediculous. Amazing fun.

Re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Well it's ridiculous to think that someone can reach that far, but in terms of game balance it wasn't that bad when we played (I played it at a LAN Cafe, by the by).

Re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
I play on PS3 split screen with friends, and when you can't blame it on lag the sudden teleportation and death is both infuriating and satisfying. It's fine in terms of balance, makes the perk worthwhile, but it's still rediculous.

Re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Hurrah! Another free weekend! Last time I got to level thirty-something, and this time I hope to get to at least sixty.
Little sleep will ensue.
Edit: Auuggh. I downloaded like twelve gigs last time just so the installation could be incomplete this time?

Re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Imagine downloading twelve gigs on my connection of 1MB.
Downloads come 100 kB/s, when i'm lucky.
A pain in the arse.
