Re: The legacy of Fima: DF Succession Game
Actually, you don't even exist in this fortress. It seems no one has dorfed you so far. But if you would ask tomaster, I'm sure he would do that for you. For bonus points, choose our main fightsmith as your character: his title is "the ultimate tulip".

Re: The legacy of Fima: DF Succession Game
Very well then, it is up for grabs. If no one takes it, I guess I'll go again to not let the fortress stop, but I would seriously appreciate it if people would really come and play the fortress instead of just watching it from a distance. To burn this message so deep into your brains that so that you'll never forget it for the rest of your lives, The Horror: Do that or forever live in fear of his *pig tail sock*.

I'll play, but I'm not guaranteeing progress on the mega project or survival, for that matter.

Re: The legacy of Fima: DF Succession Game
Eh, OK, just lemme finish some serious stuff that's happening now, and I'll post the new save. Just so you know, a dwarf decided to throw a tantrum, ran around the fortress for a few minutes, completely ignoring the fragile and valuable stuff that clutters the halls, went far into the desert, grabbed a microcline block and threw it at a sand slope. Then he calmed down. At that exaxct moment, the words "crysis averted" started flashing inside my brain. Lucky me. And a guy got in a mood, claimed a clothier's shop, grabbed a dead rat, a dead lizard, fish bones, a ton of gems, two goblin skulls and no cloth whatsoever. I feel an epic artifact coming!
EDIT: Ok, Duh, here is the save. Feel free to do as you please, but I'd be much obliged if you'd continue our little glass block making operation. If you could also keep expanding the magma reservoir (the square around Atlas' grave) upwards, using glass blocks or windows, I'd be forever grateful.
Aside from that, the moody dwarf finished the artifact. It is a lizard leather ring, decorated with rat leather and bones, shad bones, lizard bones, heliodors, opals and two entire goblin skull. I has the image of dwarves and a horse in it. For making such a marvel, the dwarf became a legendary... glassmaker?!?!?! Seriously, what?

I found a curious engraving on the wall... Ok, I'll see what's what and get on those blocks.

Geti wrote: That artifact is awesome. We always need more glassmakers anyway Him becoming a glassmaker is no problem. I'm just curious as to how the heck he gained experience in glassmaking by creating an artifact that uses no glass at all. A fine example of dwarven physics. At any rate, if Duh's turn is gonna last until thursday and Tomaster's begins on saturday, we have a free fryday here. Anyone interested in taking it?
