It is very, very annoying that I am required to change my password seemingly once a month.
What is the reason for this policy?

Password change is required once per 60 days. Forum's apparently been burned by hacks as a result of utterly shitty passwords before. Hmm... that's my first time swearing here I think...

You're bad at it.
The hack thing was WJ's April Fool's day prank. He just implemented the passwords because he felt like it.

..yeah..a prank... i prank that i had to do alot of work to revert the damanges..yeah.. i did that , duh.
