Post Characters sink into terrain
I'm sure this issue has been addressed before, but I couldn't seem to find anything about it in my searches.

Now I know there is supposed to be a bit of sinking going on, but what I'm getting is characters that can barely move through the dirt and act like gravity is pushing them down when they are on concrete etc. I haven't tinkered with any settings or installed any mods, I simply installed the latest build and this happened. That isn't to say this is the first time this has happened either, I've had the same issue in the last build. I've also un-installed and re-installed this program multiple times on this computer over the course of owning this game, always ending in the same result.

I would REALLY like to enjoy this game, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

One, fix your avatar, that thing is ♥♥♥♥ scary.

Two, you're probably giving them too much stuff. I first discovered this in build 20 when I thought it would be cool to load a dummy with every weapon in AAL, Darkstorm, and Crobotech, of course the dummy was smashed like a yellow squirrel getting hit by a steamroller.

Ha ha  I'm going to take the first part of your answer as a compliment because I happened to have drawn that picture of Zombie Mario.

Unfortunately that doesn't help me because I haven't added anything to my character's inventory, I have this issue at the start of any game play.

Really?

...that kinda sucks.

So there's nothing I can do about this??

Because this issue makes the game unplayable, does that mean nobody is playing this game right now? :-(

I kind of doubt that...

While it is true that your characters sink into the terrain a lot, especially with heavy weaponry, that only seems to happen with some types of characters for me. I only have the demo (Yea yea, sue me, why don't you), but the Heavy Coalition soldier seems a lot more likely to sink that the dummy.
Also, although its true that jetpacking everywhere is easier, be careful not to crash. If you hit the dirt at full speed when your jetpack runs out, not only will you probably make a crater (Which you will then sink into when you try to get out) but it causes major, MAJOR damage to your character. It's not uncommon to break off its legs doing that, either, which is kind of ironic really.
Also, remember that if this is skirmish mode, you DO have control over the ground around you while building, and (Assuming you have enough cash) you can cover the ground in, I don't know, concrete?
Also, remember that CC is still in development. Perhaps the devs will read your post and decide to harden the ground in later versions.

Sorry if I get a ton of stuff wrong here. I'm still a noob to CC.

EDIT: By the way, he's right. That avatar is seriously disturbing. Nice artwork, though.

Because a game that's thriving how it is, is going to change the physics of actors to make one person happy? Okay.

Hey, I seem to remember saying...

That's IF. IF! I might be right, I might be right, might be wrong, and until I stop being quite so nooby, heck, you could either inform me or stop using everything I say against me. I feel like a polititian here.

1. You call this thriving?
2. It's not one person complaining. The ground really is too soft.
3. Geez, it's not like they'd have to change actor's physics. Just putting a hard layer on the surface over the dirt would probably suffice.

At the very conservative estimate of 5,000 people buying this, not taking into account the support version, that's still $100,000, so yes, I'd say it's thriving, at that being just about the lowest estimate you could get.

Wow, it's got that many buyers? No offense and all, not like I didn't expect lower or anything. I mean, I'm no economist, but how does a game that has earned $100,000 sit around in a - let's face it - fairly unknown corner of the web?

Yes, I know someone is going to shout at me for this, but you guys need to make CC a bit better known.
