Go to Gravity Zone on Death Mode.
Block up the holes in the floor so that no-one can reach the actual gravity zone.
Spawn a single brain unit with only the starting pistol.

Death, pain and fun.

Quite a ripoff from the AAL Marine eh? It suits him amazingly well though.
Talking about marines, I just noticed he's too tall for bunker shafts... ouch.

You could make different colored marines.
For those who don't really like the color scheme. Not saying that I don't like the color right now.

I am working on it for team modes TD,CTF,KoTH etc. already have the blue done and with a green droppod for the normal mercs...ok the green mercs using blue droppods was driveing me crazy!!!

<3 this mod so much.

Just finished a survival with 63 kills (going to post in epic moments with pix.) Blind fire is awesome, gibs are awesome, weapons are awesome, and we have a new game mode promised. Not to say that it doesn't already bring much speed and intensity to cortex command.

It really does feel like deathmatch. One well placed grenade can make or break a streak. One power-up can save your life or endanger everyone.

The scenes as well are very well designed, with much variety between them. More would be even better. Are you planning on updating this, or were the map-making instructions intended to encourage map-packs and the like? The unsymmetrical maps seem to fit CC's style, by the way.

Keep up the good work, can't wait for tournament mode!

You know, at first I was worried that there were too many weapons for a Deathmatch gamestyle, but I actually think this is just perfect.

However, I do have this weird battle in my brain between my laziness and my urge to edit it into a Quake 3 mod.

There's no way my laziness will allow me to sprite all of the guys in that game.

if I can get off my lazy ass I would like to make some stuff for this like the crucible weapons the BW Kelly mod and the weapons missing from mercenaries.I wish I could sprite actors I want to make the runestorm player models as actors :( oh well I think I can hack up some of the base.rte stuff. (if you don't get what I am talking about YOUR NOT ALONE , see the attached text file for info.)

Wow. The amount and quality of content in this mod is amazing.
The amount of weapons Is just right, with a lot of variety, and I love that solid piece of awesome called the D8 battle shield.
However, the Deermaster 6k seems a little powerful. When playing FlatZone, or another small x-wrapped map, If I i hit a Coalition or Ronin, I'll get sprayed with gibs from behind. It gets annoying when you have 6 health and are instantly killed by the flying gibs of the guy you just killed :( .
Other than that, Its one of the best mods I've used.

This looks and plays amazing, BUT:

1. The actor (and any other actor) is holding nearly every weapon above his head, which is usefull for blind fire, but does not look good in close combat or just walking.

2. I noticed that many weapons have acid shells, which is not good. ^^

He holds it over his head when sharpaiming. If you are just aiming normally then he holds it normally.

Course if you're using the mouse you sharp-aim automatically...

Not all, some ... not as bad as they do in the vanilla build 23, but they do, slightly ... and they don't pile up like the ones from the vanilla content.

Butey hey, it's a great mod. I really love it. Thanks for sharing your stuff with us. :grin:

I would like to start by saying this is honestly the best mod i have ever played (even surpassing AAL)...
The sprites are awesome (not necessarily fitting in with the game, but as a pack it all fits together nicely...
The maps are actually amazing (most could be considered single release, and there are like 20 of them)... im close to having extensively played through them all, and there are so many little things put in to make the combat awesome and the aesthetics fit perfectly (backgrounds are a little shoddy though :S)...
The guns are extremely well though out, creative etc etc etc and the grenades are also single pack release worthy (loving the super gravity mulcher, and the homing nanobots of fire...)
The actor could use a little work, but mostly it just doesn't suit my gamestyle, im a fan of dropping a coalition light onto a BW map and let him pick up random weapons
Overall, a really really excellent mod, and once it is fully polished (gamemodes etc) it will be awesome
