Re: Body Ladder
It doesn't work for PCs either, it's outdated Assuming you're any good at modding, you should be able to fix the problems. If not, yes, you are indeed royally boned.

Re: Body Ladder
I played this a coupla times, very awesome, the highest I got was 350, or there abouts. Until a zombie touched my head with his hand, and I lost all 100 health in one go, son't know how that happened.
Also I found out if you get trapped by zombies falling on top of you, then killing them just gets you more trapped, what worked best for me was just jumping tons when they started piling on me, lost my legs a lot though.
A third thing, Sometimes I got a huge ledge in the center, and the zombies couldn't get on, so I had to kill some to make a ramp, and then they started rolling off the screen and just disappearing, Could you put a wall there or something to stop the Zombies falling off?
Thanks again for the awesome map.

Re: Body Ladder
I had the wall enabled for only the human simply because I thought it looked cool when zombies rolled off. I can enable it for zombies too in the next version, though.

Re: Body Ladder
Yes, it is similar to rumble box, but it is based off a flash game of the same name, which it is more similar to - obviously.

Re: Body Ladder
This doesn't currently work in B23. Seems to be a problem with the zombie gibs.

Re: Body Ladder
Well done for a quick change, works great with B23 now. Although frustrating, I love this map (like so many others). However I've had problems with how useless the pistol is, and I often drop my bat at around 180 points. I decreased the zombie head's GibWoundLimit to let you headshot someone with 2 bullets, but I reckon that it'd get too easy once you get the better weapons with that setting. This could easily be fixed by having different rank of zombies, with higher rank ones replacing the worse ones once you reach above X points. Sadly I've never moved past .ini modding for this game, but from the little I know about lua that shouldn't be too hard to alter (no, I'm not asking for this to be officially implemented, just letting out my thoughts). Anyway, I think I've found a method that's even more efficient at taking those pesky greenskins out. Eeh... I never saw those tracers before I uploaded...

I've never seen such a perfect dash. The zombies don't stand a chance!

Yes, you almost always do this a few times per game by jumping on top of someone, but I really like that lounge. I just came up with one simple suggestion for any future version: please let the final score be printed while you're dead. If you want to take a screenshot after a long round it'd be nice to not only have a huge pile of bodies but also the final score.

Re: Body Ladder
I have to agree with JeCa the pistol gets u killed more then it kills and the auto pistol is alright if u lose the bat. I like his ideas about the harder zombies after u get better weapons. Also Love the Lounge!!!

Re: Body Ladder
This is a really fun mode, I like it! Anyways, I modified the weapon unlocks so I get a glock > Uzi > Shotgun > YAK47 and the rest remained the same. I got my height up to 597! 100 of it was me flipping around shooting zombies without legs, heh. Maybe, if you could, see about getting that First Aid kit from the L4D mod implemented. When I tried to use that mod though, it crashed on me.

Re: Body Ladder
Haha, their materials are a little stronger (slightly surpassing metal in the game) so that you can walk on their corpses without them disintegrating. Seeing as how the fire in the game is designed to hardly hurt metal, the zombies do effectively become fireproof.
