Cell Actors (updated 19 May 2009, CnC needed) +Virus
From the Organic Bunker thread (thanks for the idea, Decaying Soldat!) Generic Cell. Left to right: Generic Cell, Lymphocyte, Phagocyte. Phagocyte, throwing his weight around. BOOM! SUMO SLAMMER! The full monty. Lymphocyte Antibody Blast! Think they're harmless now? Phagocyte: Now with a lysosome field that lets you get up close and personal. Kindly visit the thread that started this (and it goes well with this!): viewtopic.php?f=61&t=14349UPDATE 13 May 2009: Added Drop Cell and fixed the BG hand. Also fixed the Phagocyte's walk. UPDATE 19 May 2009: Antibody Launcher and Lysosome Field. PS: Hey folks with B23, would you guys kindly find out what caused the virus mod to do the freeze? Thxuvrymuch.

Nice, your spriting skills are really good. Also, the shield can't have the AAL Harvester as a template, because that only digs through rock. No protectional force. Sorry. You might wanna call it a cell wall, as that is the extra layer around plant cells. At least that's what it's called generally. Dunno about the scientific name. But keep going. And you can make the gun shoot white particles that keep bouncing around, to simulate living antibodies. Just keep doing what you're doing

No way...NOoooo waayy. You really made it!!! Exactly like how I drew them! Thank you! Anyway, I left them with their scientific names when I thought of the idea. Feel free to change them since it's your mod now. Oh, and I like how the cells pop when they die. One thing though, the foreground hand does not have to be that dark, makes it look odd. You can try simply making both hands the same color, or separate them if possible. And the walkpath of the phagocyte seems a bit odd, but it does the crushing job right

The cell wall is only in plant cells, since these are mobile they must be animal cells (plant cells can't move). Also a lysosome is not any form of protection it stores enzymes for digestion, basically the cellular equivelent of a stomach. A shield would just be an extra thick membrane or something. Like how you used the scientific names for the cells though. Hope to see more content in this mod.

@Decaying Soldat: One thing I noticed is that I forgot to fix the BG hand. Whoops. Will fix in next release.
@FlammableZombie: Well, the initial sketches by Decaying Soldat said that it's fragile, so I modded it a bit weaker than a dummy. How about other drop-pods?
Thank you all for the CnC and suggestions. I think I'll leave the phagocyte like that for now, it's armored enough to become a body shield. As for the antibodies I have an idea about area denial... you know, floaty things that stay in the air after you shoot it? Or drift slowly towards the enemy... alternatively, mini-missiles.
Also, I'm going to make a cell drop-pod, and include it in here. Goodeh!

Also, for weapons, I thought of: Antibody launcher: Similar to the one you guys are thinking of. Exclusive to Lymphocytes. Lysis launcher: Sprays digestive enzymes onto enemies. Lysosome orb: Close ranged weapon. Used to encase an enemy and release digestive enzymes(in game just hold it over enemies), more powerful than lysis sprayer damage-wise. Exclusive to Phagocytes. Blood Clot Sprayer: Sprays...I don't remember what those are, but works just like an organic version of the concrete gun. Exclusive to basic cells(they are fragile because they are workers only).

thats nice,carriontrooper...you could make animated background inside the underground creature,so that it looks like there are white/red cells going around...or just normal background...and why not a red cell? it could have more life and if somebody would destroy it,it would explode because of the oxygen in it...

for a "protection" vesicle, have a softly animated blob that is bigger than the cells that is held at a 0,0 stanceoffset and sharpstanceoffset. make it at least 3px thick though, itll make sure bullets collide almost all of the time also, red blood cells are prokaryotic, and barely count as cells, theyre really just a lump of haemoglobin with a few bonuses.

hmm you could make small cannals like the vents,but it would be red and small for a red cell...the red cell would be for free,life=75 and it would have a suicide weapon with 1 use...and it would be much smaller then normal white cells so it will fit in the small cannals...its a game omg,anything can be here...and make parts of the organic bunker that are in the use of "walls" or skin...
