That is easy. Just pin everything but your self.

Re: B23 Lua
I think the enemy would still shoot at you... Hmm... You could temporarily set everything's velocity to zero... but you'd still have the enemy shooting problems... This'd be difficult...

Re: B23 Lua
Or you could set everything's velocity to zero every frame? The new bullets would just stop outside the barrel.

Re: B23 Lua
Yes but that's still not quite a time freeze. And it'd be sorta tight to do that when they've got a rocket launcher...

Mostly I use pinned pixels as effect glows like an after explosion glow that fades away. Also that time freeze sounds very doable and hilarious. Except since AI can shoot at you, the script would have to update pretty often. (The gun spawn a pixel after the script was run sooo.....)

Re: B23 Lua
Hmm... technically arms and legs are Actors yes? Would there be some Lua command that lets you apply things to the sub Actors and things as well? If there was you could probably do a proper time freeze... hmm...

Re: B23 Lua
In Lua, the only part of an actor that can be accessed right now is the torso. Maybe in the future, though.

Re: B23 Lua
Hmmm... Technically the torso is the actor, the limbs and everything else merely attached Actors and Attachables... Is there some sort of Lua code to shear limbs off or otherwise spawn individual limg Actors? Has anyone tried spawning a Leg or an individual part of a door in Lua? If so, what are the effects?

Re: B23 Lua
-_-" You misunderstand me. I'm asking what would happen if you spawned an arm actor in Lua. If this is impossible and that is what you referred to then I apologise.

Re: B23 Lua
An arm is usually just an upgraded attachable. Not an actor at all. Ignore the AddActor part, its just a way to classify it as a specialized attachable.

Re: B23 Lua
Spawning it by itself, you can control it individually, but it's not going to help much.

Re: B23 Lua
Fake an actor.
Have only the torso, and the limbs hooked up with keybindings and lua.
