Post Increase integrity of doors?
Hiya, I'm new to modding Cortex Command, I've been messing around with Maginot, I changed it so that the player is now the attacker, and the computer is defending the base, but I was wondering if there was a way to make doors take more punishment before dying? I tried editing the 'Door Metal' material in Materials.ini, but nothing I did seemed to have much affect, also it looked like the material for Concrete had about the same values as the door material, even though the concrete is very obviously stronger.

Thanks for your help :)

Add zeros to GibImpulseLimit and GibWoundLimit. If you add too many it will crash Cortex, but just enough and it'll be dang hard to kill.

The more important of the two is GWL.
And it'll be how many times it needs to be shot to die, although some weapons vary.
So you don't necessarily want to just dump zeros on the value.

Say you put GWL at 300. An M16 wielding soldier would have to do ten mag dumps on the thing to break it. He would be delayed and occupied somewhere around 40 seconds. And that would be to break each door, if you're using the dual doors modules.

GibImpulseLimit is how hard you have to hit it to make it shatter. So a higher one is less likely to break in response to a rocket crashing into it... well actually it'd just require the rocket to be moving faster, but you get what I mean.

Actually, with CC's hideous motion transfer you could probably just walk through it if you tried hard enough, but that's besides the point.

Ah yes, that too. If left alone with a bunker door and no weapon, a Clone will eventually phase its way through the door instead. So you still have to watch the doors.
Anyway, with a low enough caliber or splash damage weapon, self disarming is quite common amongst AI, so this happens quite a bit more than you'd think.
