If you mean that "Protect" text, then its just normal hard coded stuff.
Snake's a brain unit you see. In skirmish, brains will always have that on them.

An excellent map from an excellent modder, nice job...I am glad to see people contributing their time for this game.

Oh, and make the gravity generators destroyable and when they get destroyed, the gravity turns off!(And yes, I know it is not possible.)

In build 23, this is actually going to be possible. (Gravity can be turned off with Lua, yes? Well Build 23 lets you Lua script anything!)

EDIT: Oh yeah, great map. Now if only 2 player didn't keep crashing.

You can't turn off gravity with lua.

It's inied into the scene.

You can emulate gravity and have it shut down when the generators are down.

Yeah, probably something like a scene-wide area which is tied to the generator objects. If its busted, the area will set the "gravity" to 5 or something. (0 gravity can be nasty on a large map where free gibs fly around along with terrain pixels without having a chance to land and become terrain)

How come when i use the scene editor and save it. it tells me line 63 cant be opened...

then it crashes.

i had to delete that line and relaunch but then the forts on both sides were gone.
i was doing this because im sick of making a base before playing and i just dont have enough money for a good base,

and making a base takes too long

thanks

You should ask that question in the support forum. Get a screencap of the abortscreen and list the code the CC doesn't like and one of us there can help you out in the support forum. :)

Im gonna have to test making a base on this.

The problem is that the game is divided into multiple .rte folders where all the content is scattered and mods have their own .rte folders.
Now when you open CC, it will go through every .rte folder it will find and it does this in a specific order. Base.rte is first and thats the very place it saves the scene files you might have created with the bunkers.

I might be able to recover your bunker if you can send me the file.
The file is located in Base.rte/Scenes folder and it should be something like
*YourMapName*.ini.

This scene creation problems will eventually get fixed in later builds, but for now you need to make the bunkers following special instruction that I will write soon.

Gonna go test this.

This scene looks really good, but how long is it going to be tested? I REALLY want to have this...

It is not being tested. Actually, it won't be released. EVER.

You see, Numgun... he is not with us anymore. A pretty sad story.

In other news...
N-N-N-NECROOO!!!
If it's off of page 1, don't bump it. If you must, ask for someone to pm you it who still has it. Numgun specifically asked for his stuff to be kept off of the public forum from now on. By the way, you'll get the most out of this in a 2-player match.
