In a scene, I want it big enough for me not to have to worry about killing myself with my own rockets, but small enough not to lag, and with interesting terrain but enough clear space to make it easy to land craft or have massive air fights.

Make me a large, flat (ish) map with tunnels all through it, tunnels wide enough for standard actors to pass through it without needing to duck. Then you will be awesome.

I've been trying to make this work, but it doesn't. It's acting like it has the zip bug,yet it's obviously a rar. I noticed your file structure is pretty broken up in there, but it looks like it should still go. Please help.

It's not there. Period. As in, no error, no abort, no any of that. It's just not there.

Of course it's in the right place. Cortex Command folder. That's where it all goes, right?
It doesn't do a thing.

I'm having the same issues as Ultric. I've poked at your files and compared them to other map files, and your structure is definitely strange-seeming. I'm sure it works for you, though. Tried the re-download, same results. I'd love to play on this board!

Ehh, to all who have problems, try copying all the files in the .rte to a new folder, deleting the original and renaming the new folder into the name of the .rte

this problem comes from a bad extraction. i used 7zip for this one and it worked fine off the bat. the gold looks a little ugly but ohwell. maybe make a bunkermodule and paint it properly like all the first party content does.
