That would make positioning a dropship over a base for delivery less risky due to it removing the problem of low-altitude flight.

Re: Taehl Bunker Tiles v1.1
I don't think I could do beacons, sadly... See, if a glow's particle is offscreen, then the glow isn't displayed, meaning that the beacon wouldn't be visible until you were within a screen of the pad. It might be possible to make a spotlight/beacon/whatever that shot glow particles into the air in a big stream, but I don't have the faintest idea how to do that, or if it's even possible.
But not all is lost: I just got done making little orange-flashing warning lights to put in your landing bays. Not beacons, but they sure are pretty and noticeable.
EDIT: I may be onto something. And it'd be a hell of a lot less laggy than a massive glow-shooter, too. Would a thin, glowing beam work for you?

Re: Taehl Bunker Tiles v1.1
Sorry for the doublepost, but v1.4 is ready.
v1.4 - Overhauled lights to use glow effects - Lights are now interactive and animated - Added multiple types of lights - Added catwalks and catwalk caps - Added landing beacon and beam - Fixed offsets of and renamed graspers - Made slanted walls thicker - Optimized filesize of empty bg/fg images - Cleaned up tiles' use of blank layers - Improved the 10x4 background slightly - Fixed two pixels on right slant wall 1

Just lay down the full slope, then place the straight wall over it: Alternatively, stick an inner corner between them:

Better door... Well, I'd have a lot to learn before I could make doors, but I guess it'd be a good thing to add to TBT... What could be improved over normal doors?

Re: Taehl Bunker Tiles v1.4
different thicknesses, different looking styles stuff like that. I'll be happy what ever your next update is, even if its just adding 1 more light type. Go forth, king of bunker tiles, and shake the foundations of the world with awesomeness! I'll see what you have accomplished after i return from my 10 day vacation. Bye every1!!
