Re: Base Busters
Technically its not a mod so it doesn't really count...

Re: Base Busters
Just because the host died doesn't mean it's not a mod.
It WAS a mod, and it WAS released.

Re: Base Busters
Fine, it's not innovative, but I still like how it can go through the tutorial bunker and stop where you want it to.

Re: Base Busters
This is not innovative or new. Or even particularly useful. It's only useful if you are playing against someone with a ridiculously deep bunker like the tutorial one, otherwise it just buries itself far underground and expldes/releases your actor into a place in which it is trapped.

Re: Base Busters
So you want everyone to come up with something that has never been done before. That's totally likely to happen.
This'll be a good toy for me to mess around with for some time.

This'll be a good toy for me to mess around with for some time. I never said that, don't put words in my mouth. But not only is this a totally overdone idea (Like gold sprayers and acid guns), it fails at it's purpose. It's only useful in the tutorial mission, and then only for Bombing your own base.

Re: Base Busters
What's to say people don't turn their own base into a scrap heap?
I does.

Re: Base Busters
That's still no reason to punch huge holes in it and bury your troops in said holes, or fill your base with an explosion.
It's a nice (although certainly not original) idea, you just calibrated it for the wrong depth. Try making it pierce just one layer of concrete.

Try making it pierce just one layer of concrete. i could do different depth ones, these ones, ones that pierce 2 layers, and ones that pierce 1. How that sound? Edit: New Version coming along nicely, almost done.

Re: Base Busters
Now that would be a better idea. I'm not sure how useful the vaporizer is either, I think you should just use the first two.

Re: Base Busters
Why not just use the first one? It would vaporize them and also deliver a troop to clear up those left alive.
Or the second one to blow them up.
