CIVILIZATION: RISING
From the dank labyrinths of the combined minds of caekdaemon and TheKebbit comes a new form of speed-colony management cooperative RTD gaming... With three votes, DRLFF begins with a tribe of the chosen species dropped haphazardly into the chosen location - a no-technology, raw Stone Age scenario. They will guide them to survival - they will guide them to conquest and great heights of magic. Alternate turns (with actions voted on by the community) will be written by caekdaemon and yours truly at a faster rate and smaller packet size than our typical style of massive, skull-detonating rolls. Reference work of my own can be found at /tg/ archives. Any questions?

Re: CIVILIZATION: RISING
We probably won't exactly go along with all the perks listed - some of the ones in the rightward section were added fresh and weren't completely as well thought out.
The aptitudes and character of each race hold unchanged, however, and if you need a more detailed description caek and I will cooperate to throw one up in a text post.
Myself, I vote for Troll and Plains.

Re: CIVILIZATION: RISING
Voting may take a little while before we collapse into some sort of agreement state.
Chances are we'll meet all the species given in votes regardless of whether or not we play them.

Re: CIVILIZATION: RISING
Alright, before I go to bed a vote tally.
Civiliation Dragons : 1 Trolls : 1 Crystalids : 1 Homunculus : 1 Harpies : 1 Slimes : 2
Terrain Forest : 1 Plains : 1 City Ruins : 2 Floating Islands : 1 Mountains : 1 Islands : 2
So that means that for now, Slimes and Islands are in the lead. Though this could still go any different way.
I'm still holding out for dragons. You know me, holding onto a cause even in the face of defeat.

Re: CIVILIZATION: RISING
The option for cyclops or insect or some other race that has good technology is tempting, but I'll go for slime on islands.
