this is a game where everything is explained using text. ex:
dan,"that MG is pinning us down!". "ill throw a smoke, bob, you go around that dune and launch a grenade into there"
(next post) bob, "yessir!" smoke is thrown, bob moves up and throws the nade at the bunker.
at this point the player on the MG and the player as bob (if bob is a personal actor, read on to see about them.) will decide whether or not to kill the MG actor, injur him, destroy the gun, etc.
RULES! READ THIS:
1. each team will use only 1 faction, this is determined at the beginning of a match.
2. all matches are started and ended in this topic...only one match at a time.
3.each player will get a personal actor, they will need to control this actor throughout the game.
4. there are secondary actors. these actors are only controlled by a player on the same team when it is needed. in other words, a secondary actor is controlled only when attacked or needs to defend from invaders and such.
5. if a player attempts to kill a primary actor, be it with a secondary or a primary actor, he/she must consult with said player, so if bob were to try to kill max, then bob and max must figure out what would happen, miss, injure, destroy weapon, etc.
6. if a primary actor is killed then the player associated must control secondary actors OR another primary actor if the player for that actor quits.
7. any problems with killing of actors please ask me for help, no fighting, we don't want to fight every 5 seconds. primary actors are like primary characters, they don't die easily.
8. to join in the game, you must use a template similar to this.
name: dan (use name of person in faction)
faction: ronin
class: heavy weapons
inventory: fnfal, p228
(when specifying inventory, use weapons from the faction and keep to the specialty. if the faction is missing somthing like a primary, rifle or smg, secondary, pistol or somthing similar, or grenade, then use somthing from tradestar, the weapons on the top0!
i will moderate deaths and such.
thats kinda it for the rules...ill post more if i come across problems. basically play fair and DONT BE A MINGE!!!
also...my dog may be building up fluid around his heart and collapsed at one point...he needs medication and such....so....yeaaah.....
hes been with us for 11 years....thats a long time for a dog...boston terrier.

Count me in. Are the factions the CC ones or others? What kind of actor can I choose? Also the part about asking permission to someone you want to kill to do so seems wierd, imo a random number with modifyers based on the equipment/skills/situation would be better, otherwise noone would die. Still it's your game so you decide.

Picture wars does it well enough, but yes, some moderation of the "NO I KILLED YOU, NO I KILLED YOU" is likely to be needed.

also if anyone has any ideas on how to present the map please post a reply or PM me...the only idea that may work is using a map that everyone has used...or making up a map as we go along. maybe this will turn into a game like this

And what faction would that be, do we choose our faction from a list, do we make our own, or do you choose the faction yourself?

that depends...
if you guys want to pick the factions, you can, but they will have to be ones i have in order for me to be able to moniter this topic thoroughly. factions can be as few as 1 or 2 troops with only a few different guns, maybe not have any craft, or they can be as big as unitech! but it would be better if the factions are similar in size. if you want to pick factions, go ahead, if not then i will or have someone like mehman or Gotcha! to do it.
edit: or i could put some up for yall to choose from too...that would work.

only small ones....my bro uses this tank i got thats WAAAY over powered. the only things i have are the air support mod and a little vehicle called a dune rider.for the most part, no. mechs are OK if used sparingly.

It's mostly powerful and expensive infantry with of special abilities(for example the defender can use a shockwave for CQC, very slowly regenerates and can teleport new grenades from the base when he doesn't have any left.).

If you want with then it'll be with, if you want ideas for other factions DarkStorm is a very good one, I also remember of a Warhammer 40K mod with Space marines and Orks, but I don't know if it is still compatible.
