"Uh, shall we leave?"

Kyros: "Yeah. Let's see if we can find a healer."

The party heads over to the sewer exit, and after Kyros explains the situation to the guards, the gate opens up and the party exits the underground.

Guard: "A healer should be here shortly. Also, there was a lot of smoke coming up from one of the drainage gates, was there a fire underground or something?"

"Darla, you're up! You all rested up?"

Darla: "Rested enough, I guess. Who was that?"

Blizzard, now in a white cloak, is standing on a hill with LucidAucupe.

Blizzard: "The seventh Disaster weapon, Plague."
Aucupe: "She's gone now."
Horoma: "Blizzard, why did she call you 'murderer?'"

The white weapon stares off into the distance, silent.

Find me a place to draw power then.

Torrent: You're the one with legs and eyes. Find it yourself.

John: "Darla, you're up! You all rested up?"
Darla: "Rested enough, I guess. Who was that?"

Blizzard, now in a white cloak, is standing on a hill with LucidAucupe.

Blizzard: "The seventh Disaster weapon, Plague."
Aucupe: "She's gone now."
Horoma: "Blizzard, why did she call you 'murderer?'"

The white weapon stares off into the distance, silent.

"The red mage is missing...

...Everyone, form the same battle formation as we did with the Lupus skirmish - Halberdiers between swordsmen, stick those polearms out! Black mage, lead them forward - I'll support from behind...

We need the red mage, now."

A burnt limb lands on the ground beside you, still smoldering.

Swordsman: "Uh, I think he's all over the place right now."

The party gets into formation, still in the low ground.

Black Mage: "Captain, we'll be at a disadvantage if they hit us while we're in the low ground."
Swordsman: "And we'll get roasted if we take the high ground."

"Blizzard."

Blizzard: "I assume you know about the War of Blades?"
Darla: "Wasn't that like the biggest war ever so far? Who wouldn't know about it?"

He gives a shrug.

Blizzard: "It was a war to end the Age of Lords. The upper classes of knights, high-mages, and lords, against the common people led by the Third Sect of Caelum.
I was the founder and leader of the Third.
That woman is of noble blood, the last one of a family that branched off of the Daeli."

"You don't seem to be with them now."

Blizzard: "From what I gathered, there was a war after the War of Blades between the Third and the Daeli. The Daeli more or less wiped out the Third sect with only a few scattered groups remaining, but the Daeli themselves suffered massive casualties.
The Daeli and other lords were severely weakened in the western continent, and the rise of firearms gave the commoners the power to overthrow the monarchies. The east, here, however, wasn't able to acquire firearm technology, and the Daeli were left stronger in this continent.

I'm sure the Daeli and other rulers of this continent failed to inform their public about the exact nature of the wars. Apparently a decade or so ago the lords attempted to outlaw the Caelum faith, and many followers of the First sect tried to convince them of the difference between the First, Second, and Third sects, but their cries fell on deaf ears. The... Equilibrium War?"

Darla: "Yeah, that's the most recent war on this continent."

Blizzard: "Many of the First's followers took up arms to protect their beliefs, but they didn't stand a chance. Almost all were exterminated. The only remaining people of Caelum left on this continent would be small, hidden groups of the First and Third, though the Second's organization is still lurking around in large numbers."

Darla: "There was a skirmish or something with a large group of Caelum followers recently, before the crazy magic stuff happened. Maybe that was them?"

Blizzard: "Maybe."
