Re: RtD: Illusia - (Roll #117)
I failed to roll yesterday, but today I must not fail!

Torrent (Gillian) (12)
You animate a long chain of cobblestones on the street you're standing on, and watch as they tear themselves from the ground and form a slithering mass that floats through the air.
It looks rather formidable, but doesn't seem too keen on following your orders; the rock-snake tears off down the street, smashing two gargoyles in the process.
Shame it's not protecting you, because an animated statue swings a sharp-looking tail your way (1 v. 9). Fortunately, you dodge.
Ociamarru (Nikolai) (5)
Another gargoyle, seeing its ally crumbled by your attack, leaps at you, swinging its claws (9 v. 3 + 1), and scrapes you across the chest, and though your Wolf Gear slows the attack somewhat, you're still left with three stinging cuts. You recover as quickly as you can from the injury and fire at the gargoyle point blank before it attacks you again (5 v. 6). It moves aside just in time to keep from getting fried.
caekdaemon (Anderson) (3)
You heartily hit your chestplate with the side of your clenched fist, then raise it into the air and shout
"Hurrah!"... It goes unnoticed by everyone, including the enemies. Jeez, what's wrong with them? Those ♥♥♥holes are too busy fighting to have a good time!
Rage +2!
CaveCricket (Raphael) (2 - 1 = 1)
You try to cover Terry's back, but when a gargoyle leaps at you (1 v. 11) you just get out of the way and let him run straight
into Terry's back... which doesn't really do a whole lot to the colossal Hunchback; Terry doesn't even notice.
You try to hit the now-downed enemy (1 v. 3) But it hops to its feet and gets away. You end up making a small slice in the floor instead.
Tokochiro (Johni) (8)
Again, nobody seems to notice that you're there and very attack-able, so you march right up to a gargoyle (8 v. 3) and bop it on the head.
You then proceed to bop it on the head again. Harder.
And again.
And again.
And each time you hit a little bit harder, until the gargoyle is in several pieces.
Success!
Phd (John Adams) (8)
Before you can focus in on any gargoyles, one is right in your face, trying to scratch it off (11 v. 10). You move aside just before it hits and only suffer a little cut to the tip of your nose. To repay this injury, (8 v. 4) you give the gargoyle that just attacked you a little wall on its everything, turning it into a pile of rocks.
NPCsGabriel (6 + 2 = 8, 7 + 2 = 9)
Gabriel is swarmed by two gargoyles at the same time (5 v. 2) (6 v. 6) and gets clawed in the leg by one of them before he can move aside. He grits his teeth (8 v. 2) and smashes one, (9 v. 1) then the other.
Terry (5 + 1 = 6)
Three gargoyles quickly jump on Terry (4 v. 8) and he tosses them all off like they're paperweights. (6 v. 1) Then he smashes one of them with a giant fist.
Locations
-Torrent, Ociamarru, caekdaemon, Tokochiro, and Gabriel are by the entrance.
-CaveCricket and Terry are a small distance down the main street, away from the entrance.
-Phd is halfway down a side alleyway that leads to a second entrance.

Not-so-important Reminder:
Gargoyles are semi-skilled opponents. They receive a dodge roll, but it is equal to 1/2 what they roll on a 12-sided die (odd rolls rounded down), so the highest they can roll is 6.
Even if you make a "failed" attack against them, if they roll too low, they get hit by it. From now on, this will apply to all attacking so that there are less boring misses. :)
Additionally, if you roll 6 or higher attack vs. dodge roll on enemies, you can continue to attack a second enemy in that turn. Otherwise it's 1 enemy per turn.
