The Hall of Fame
Hall of Fame This is a thread dedicated to forum games which have reached their conclusion. These are forum games that often last for many months, if not years, and feature large thread sizes and many participants. Hopefully, this thread will grow over time as more forum games finish and as more people start their own games. ================================================================================= 1: Roll to Dodge - Blue Data Realms' first Roll to Dodge game! RtD Blue started off a little bit silly and random, but it was still fun and enjoyable from the start. Over time, the game grew to be a little more serious and directed, and this growth was accompanied by fantastic locations, boss fights, and one hell of an ending. Remember that Blue is the one-and-only original DRLFF forum game, and without its inception, Forum Games likely would not exist. Author: TorrentHKU (originally known as Hyperkultra) Thread Link: viewtopic.php?f=87&t=17095================================================================================= 2: Roll to Dodge 2 - "Blur" Data Realms' second Roll to Dodge thread, inspired by the rapid success and growth of TorrentHKU's original Roll to Dodge game! Roll to Dodge 2, initially subtitled "Srs" [Serious] tried to start off with a little more direction than RtD Blue, but this backfired somewhat and led to a lot of early game revision. A few pages in, however, RtD 2 got on track and went on to arguably be as popular as RtD Blue, running simultaneous "Good" and "Evil" parties- one in the thread, one through PMs- that eventually merged to make for a whopping party size near the end of the game. RtD2 is a prequel to RtD Blue and takes place in the same universe, dubbed the "Blueniverse," and features some important characters from RtD Blue. Author: Ragdollmaster Co-Author: Yoman987 Thread Link: viewtopic.php?f=87&t=19614================================================================================= That's all for now! Check in in the future to see if any other finished threads have made the Hall of Fame list.

Just one question. Who made the first RTD you know, like, ever?

I have no idea, and I'm fairly certain Mouse picked the rules up from elsewhere. Also yes, Sean Mirrsen is a god.

Re: The Hall of Fame
Question. Have any other games finished, and by finished I mean not gotten locked and/or abandoned?

Re: The Hall of Fame
Well, come to a reasonable conclusion then. Abandoned I suppose, as long as it got properly ended.

Re: The Hall of Fame
Nuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu why did I run away for so long ;_;
I am also sad that I am only worthy of "Co-author" for RTD2 when I wrote what I thought to be a lot of it. However, if we are speaking in terms of who created the story and not who wrote the story, I would have to sadly agree that I am but a simple slave writer.

Re: The Hall of Fame
We should add a memorial hall for those ambitious RtD's that have died.
Rest in peace, Magitech. You'll be sorely missed.

Rest in peace, Magitech. You'll be sorely missed. Somebody pull up the official Dead RtD video (for the third time). I'm too lazy.
