Thalin lets out a roar from the heart of his chest, so loud it bounces off the rafters as if a massive monstrosity was present in the lodge. He looks around the room, looking for potential enemies. And finds no one with the spine to face the dreaded Citadel Killer in one on one combat.

"Come on you spineless children! Do none of you have the balls to fight me? HAH! This is why we Calak'tor are the superior dwarves! None of you cowards have the taste for battle! I say again! Are none of you brave enough to fight me!?!"

He then grabs a mug from the bar side and downs it in one. Blood will be shed this day.

Mind explaining the roll results?

I'm not quite sure what I see happening there.

6 rolls of you and the other guy versus-ing.
1 is his wins, 0 is ties, -1 is his loses.

I pretty much went to any dice, and said ♥♥♥♥ it, because I don't really care for pvp, and feel that there was a reason why it wasn't implemented in the manual.
[In the manual, it is the the one that secedes from the Boast that rolls the Difficulty against the Quester. I see why it is that way.]

Anyways I could've saved the situation by pushing the Challenge away from "Mano A Mano" [allows for Pvp], by changing it to "Getting Service from the Piss Staff" [Allows for a Quest line probably involving a Bar Run, or something dumb, like an eventual Bar Fight, and All-Out Brawl with the City Guards].
The game's pretty much talking yourself into a bad spot, and going from there.

If you want a more "full" experience of "real" dice mechanics, and "asking for it" as a means of plot development, or role play, then badger me about the-- for the most part --shriveled hag of a Fate CORE Campaign I'm trying to host.
