Re: [WIP] Shadow Industries Weapon Pack [Last Updated 2/27/08]
Liquid Nitrogen Gun and Lava gun will be getting glows/changes here soon, been busy at a LAN all weekend, I'm gonna start compiling a text file of suggestions to tweak with.
Flak Cannon I'll note to increase reload time slightly, Shockwave Gun I enjoy screwing around with personally, may up the sharpness and change it to a literal wave instead here soon.
I'll be updating this with my Hydromine Cannon in a few, the Mines still don't sit they explode on contact, but I think you'll enjoy it anyway =p
-
Updated with Hydromine Launcher, enjoy, as I said they don't sit yet, still working on that, so just judge the explosion/sprite for me for now.
And to all of you who said you like my sprites =p thanks, I really thought they were kinda overcolored and bright xD I have a lot more in the works planned so stay tuned for the next week or two, maybe even animating some of the sprites so that the colored charge areas on some weapons (lava gun) will cycle etc.

<3 the Hydromines, when finished the mines will be high velocity low sharpness water sprays so people will go flying when they step on them and usually gib quite a bit.

My CC will not load this mod. Which is a shame. It looks neat.

I'm actually considering doing an entire faction at this point (Concepts are basically done) for a faction of Techmagi from the Planet Ios, they specialize in harnessing the elements into their weaponry using traditional and ancient methods =p included in these weapons will be Spellgloves, which are giant mechanical gloves that enhance the users abilities to control the elements, which are basically weapons that let you shoot fireballs, control cyclones, etc.
Its in the works, currently doing a sprite for the Shadow Industries test dummy right now though.

I think the test dummy should be made of precious materials like gold or silver, since it actually adds to your overall budget instead of takes away from it. Or does that even make sense? I 'unno.
And yea man I love this mod, nothing is overpowered and all very fun to use. Fits extremely well with data's content.

I think a clay golem would make sense, coz of the whole magic thing.

Not really magic as much as tech addicted freaks who use uber technology to control the elements, their front line soldiers are also overheavily armored knight-like people as well.

I still think a clay golem would be cool.

Re: [WIP] Shadow Industries Weapon Pack [Last Updated 3/2/08]
All I can do is laugh, anyways, why not other elemental warriors with their certain strengths. Like since they are so keen on getting the elements to do what they want, stabilize water to a humanoid or crab-like form that shoots super condensed pellets that shard on contact, ripping away armor and devices. Also, bullets would go through them if not aimed at a ... umm.. I guess strong point in their structure that holds the weight of their form. Else hey could explode violently in a spray of water when shot, and be extremely cheap.
There's actually a lot of different ways to go about this... better than how I described too.

After much considering I think I'd rather do a Hellgate: London mod anyway, my giant armored guys were definitely pulling inspiration from Hellgate's Templar anyway, and if you've read the novels their giant underground cities are amazing =p
I'm not sure what I want to do yet really.
