I just hope SS3 doesn't suck as much as 2 did. Also, any info on new enemies or gear? Or will Sam HD be exactly the same? |

I've been looking forward to this for some time now. I love the Serious Sam series (first two in particular), and seeing the very first get revamped with totally awesome graphics makes me bounce in anticipation. I'd better not set my expectations too high, though. |

Found out about this only yesterday, but, I have a crazy feeling that they will change something and it will suck major ass. PS. 2nd encounter was much better then 1st imo. |

Serious Sam was awesome because, well, it wasn't serious at all. Also i loved the design of the enemy creature thingys. |

Serious Sam was the best tech demo ever. It's a shame it never really made it to a full-blown game. |

Serious Sam HD has no split screen multiplayer. Terrible development decision in my opinion. What is the point in consoles when nobody supports split screen anymore, if I want to be antisocial I have my PC thank you very much. |

Valid point, lots of console games nowadays only have online multiplayer support. It's a shame. |

So I got the game, and I must say... Its kind of a letdown... I honestly expected more. The game is basically the same (No surprise here, that's what it was meant to be) with 2008/9-ish effects. They added some ragdoll physics, post-processing, higher resolution textures (Not ALL of the textures though, about 60%), AA and pretty water, but they didn't touch the models (Except weapons), animation and HUD the slightest bit. It feels as if they got 3/4 way and just quit, releasing what feels like a half-baked game... Other then that, it's good old Serious Sam. Honestly, the revamp ain't worth ♥♥♥♥, you're better off with the original. Could be just me though. |
