Areku, can you update the OP with the info for this incarnation of the fort? Tomaster wrote: Can I just pick a time whenever? I think we need someone between alpha and Geti, correct me if I'm wrong. Or, if not, after Geti.

So Geti, you'll get saturday and sunday, and tomaster gets monday/thursday.

Whoever you want. You can be a mischiefous overlord if you want (SPAWN MOAR OVERLORDS) or just a dwarf from the rabble. Most of us have dwarves named after us, for the lulz.

Does anybody know any good tilesets for 40d16?
Oh, ♥♥♥♥, it threw the "*.exe has stopped working" error.
That was just random. But still need the tileset.

Re: The legacy of Fima: DF Succession Game
wrong topic, this is for the succession game, but still, I made one that's pretty readable, but its for specific situations/needs. viewtopic.php?p=336682#p336682if you dont like it, just have a look on the df wiki, theres a list of some pretty good ones.

Re: The legacy of Fima: DF Succession Game
should I just grab the save if he doesnt post in like an hour or what? I dont have too much time today and wont have any tomorrow, so my turn will be short.

Ok, OP has been updated. Also, apparently my turn was before Geti's, but go on, I'll just take the timespace between the end of his turn and the one on monday.

downloaded have a quick go before dinner and then up tonight at some point. [edit: do hate these large world savefiles, you can have perfectly good saves in small worlds you know *shakes fist*]

Re: The legacy of Fima: DF Succession Game
What happened: very little. basically, a shitton of construction, one legendary miner sponaneously exploded at the bottom (grappled by something? idk. he died, limbs everywhere, it was the main event), traded a crapton of glas instruments and crafts and whatnot for some more useful stuff, set up a military of hammerdwarves, started building a water tower for drowning goblins elves and built a proper barracks and meeting hall (in the same place), as well as setting out more beds where they were needed, and started carving some moats and stuff around, yelled at the 20-50 FPS i was getting (50 when there was NOONE AROUND, 20 when the traders were eating my framerate (not to mention the million haulers dragging green ascii to the depot)), i realised that my dwarf was a grand master comedian amongst other social masteries and felt mildly proud, oh, and we got a bitchin' aluminium (wtf) battleaxe with all the artifact trimmings. just about every engraving made in the fort is about duh, btw. something about 8 trillion glass masterpieces and being the leader and such. ♥♥♥♥ that needs to be done: move the glass furnaces and such that are to the northwest away, or build walls and towers and set up a marksdwarf ♥♥♥♥. if goblins get in there we're boned, its where our forges are and there's no military around there. we also need a guard and just a general layout, the current one sucks a tad. also, flood the pit with the brook, I dare you. just make sure you plug up the meeting hall or we'll all die. enjoy.
