Shock! I had that game.. The story they tried to tell was confusing as HELL. Anyways... WurmAudiosurf Spore Scribblenauts Garry's Mod GTA4 LittleBigPlanet - I oh so love my worthless little levels that do things that my friends find hilarious You, my friend, are evil. I tried Wurm out. I've been playing for 3 days. I've not touched CC. I truly reccomend this game.

Re: Games that won't let go
Starcraft was an excellent game just because it was the only multi game of it's decade that had balanced gameplay. It's not so special nowadays because several other games have also hit that milestone (There is no "killer" strategy that always works against any opponent). It has an interesting development story behind it.
But I agree, I can't pick it up again now.
I could only play Halo on the PC. FPS sans keyboard/mouse is really really painful.
Anyone play Larax et Zaco? That's a game I play twice a year or so
DwarfFortress keeps drawing me in too.

Kerbal Space Program. Forever. CAN'T GET BORED WITH IT FOR NEARLY 1 YEAR! I play EVERY day! But it is hard to do anything big. It needs time to play.
